It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I miss a few days and have fallen so far behind on all my threads!

Love the updates. I've never ate at Coral Reef, and enjoyed all the pictures. One of these days I'll have to go there, even if it's only for dessert. ;)

Great update LL! Do you have any closer photos of your personalized menu? I'm curious to see how they do those for you.

Thanks! :goodvibes

LL---love the multi-part update!!! It was great!!! SO loved that that turtle hung out with you guys during your lunch!!! I loved how laid back and relaxed your day was at Epcot!!! Way to go!!!! Can't wait for more!
I have to say that most of our days were relaxed which I think is the best way to go. :goodvibes

Well here is the tip for the next time...Hidden Mickey is on the golf ball that flies at your face!
:lmao: I probably won't ever see it because that golf ball freaks me out!

I would recommend trying it at least once. It's a very nice atmosphere.

I will try to take a few closer pictures for you but it might not be until this weekend. :thumbsup2

LL, I've really enjoyed your TR. You've been doing a great job. Looking forward to more........

I was down for the count this weekend due to work but just had a chance to catch up on your TR. Your pictures of the castle at night are gorgeous! And how cool that you scored rocking chairs for Spectro.
All the pictures of the turtle joining you for lunch at Coral Reef came out so good too! He is huge!
OH MY GOSH Thank you for reminding me of the Full House episode where Joey & Jesse scuba dive at Coral Reef! I need to get a copy of that episode somehow...I haven't seen it in ages. I wonder if it is on YouTube :rotfl:

Thank you! I am quite proud of my pictures. I love that Full House episode. Who am I kidding? I love them all! There was also a Step by Step episode where they go to WDW and one of their friends tries to ride all the rides and set the World Record time. I really want to watch that.

It probably is...my mom and i were talking about Carousel of Progress and I found that the ENTIRE ride is on YouTube so I sent it to her. Here is is for the other COP fans

Thank you so much for the nice compliment and for reading. I really love my Mickey Bopper Ears. They were a lot of fun and only $6!!

I'm still here! I've been busy subbing so I'm just getting all caught up. Those turtle pictures are absolutely amazing. That is so cool he was right there while you ate.

Oh yes, and I love Full House (I own all 8 seasons on DVD...:teeth:) and of course the Disney World ones are my favorites. :goodvibes

Day 3. Part 2.

After a short bus ride we had arrived. I love Hollywood Studios. I love the old Hollywood feel, I love movies, I love Disney, it doesn't get much better for me! We went through the bag check quickly and we were in the park quickly, there were no lines at the ticket gates.

I spotted quite the handsome man that I just had to get a picture with for a special DIS'er....'s.....daughter! Hehehe. For CP and her DD!!

Marc looked at me like I was nuts, so did a lot of other people in the vicinity but I couldn't help myself. I felt so at peace taking the photo with Mr. Coca Cola. I thought of all my DIS pals and their vacations that they had shared with me and how I couldn't want to share my disney trip with all of them. Ahhh...warm fuzzies.

After my moment with the wooden man, we took some photopass photos.

I wish I had thought to move my bag. Oh well! I just realized I have been forgetting to update you on my shoe status. After wearing my sneakers on the second day....I never wore them again. They were not comfy at all. My Mary Jane crocs were much much better. I was so bummed that I had only brought my green ones and not my purple ones too. Again, oh well. You live and you learn.

To me, The Great Movie Ride IS Hollywood Studios/MGM/That Other Park/Whatever. I adore The Great Movie Ride. So that is where we headed. I was determined to get a picture of the Carousel horse from Mary Poppins. There was no one in line, NO ONE. I couldn't even pause properly, Marc was rushing me through the queue. Grrrrr.

2867500065_6999019aec.jpg

Grrrrr. So we get into the large theater type thing where you watch movie clips. The CM's come over and they start making the line longer as people are piling up. No biggie. Marc is freaking out. Marc doesn't freak out. I guess he really wanted to ride this. We probably had to wait 4 or 5 minutes to get to our tram.

Our Tour Guide was meh. He didn't speak english well which didn't translate to a great ride. He was trying hard and you could tell he enjoyed his job so I give him an A for effort. I was really hoping that we would get the Mobster who took over our tram but alas I got the Cowboy...again. Who was worse than our Tour Guide.

I love the end with all the movie clips. LOVE IT! After the ride, I was determined to look at the hand/foot prints outside. I was so glad that I did. I had a moment.

That's when I spotted it. Words escaped me as I flung the camera at Marc. I didn't care that people were looking at me as I got down and put my hands in.....

......BILLY JOEL'S HANDPRINT. I was so excited. I love Billy. Yes, we are on a first name basis. In High School, I wanted to marry him. I know this is wrong on many levels but I adore him. Still do. People were looking at me like I was crazy but I didn't care, I was with Billy. *Sigh*

2868352460_0dcde9cc06.jpg

After my brush with Billy, we decided to mosey over to Toy Story Mania. On the way I spotted a display of memorabillia from the grand opening of Mary Poppins. Of course I took pictures.

Finally we made it over to TSM. 90 Minute wait. No thanks. We didn't want to be late for our ADR.

This is the only picture I took in the TSM area. What is up with that? I must have been all verklempt from my Billy encounter.

Continued....

Day 3. Part 2. Continued.

We decided to head for Backlot Tour. It was closed. It closed at 7PM and it was after that at this point, probably around 7:15. We continued to walk around.

2868361894_002e192daf.jpg

As we continued our walk, I spotted something on my list! The Singing In The Rain umbrella. I was so excited!! I had Marc take a picture of me first and I told him how to operate the umbrella.

2867531305_4a3661ec46.jpg

Marc walked up to me to switch off with the camera so I could take a picture of him. Just then two little girls who had been watching me run up and take their place. Their Mom was directing them to take a picture. I was pretty upset that she let them cut in front of us. We weren't done and it was visible. There was another family waiting behind us and that woman looked upset about it too. They couldn't figure out how to make it rain. Me having a little snit fit, didn't tell them. I even muttered to Marc under my breath, "Do not tell them how to work it." They kept looking at us but I just ignored them. I thought it was so rude that they cut in front of us. This wasn't the last time parents pushed their kids in front of us either during this trip. My working title while at WDW was "Just because I dont' have kids doesn't mean I don't want to meet characters too!" I scratched that since it seemed a bit bitter. Finally the little girls and Pushy mom left. Marc posed for me and couldn't figure it out either. Guess he hadn't heard me before! The Mom behind me thanked me for telling her how to make it work for her kiddos. She gave me a knowing look and smile, I took it to mean "Good Job, LL! Those little brats didn't deserve your knowledge!"

Marc looking for a button to turn on the rain. Pffft!

There you go!!

Sadly. That is all I have time for tonight. You will just have to wonder about our last minute ADR until the next installment. ;)

Argh! You're killing me! Wait until the NEXT installment to find out about your ADR?!? OK... if I have to... ;)

I love Billy Joel too. :)

Special Mary Poppins exhibit?! :thumbsup2

Ok... I don't know how to make the umbrella work... what's the trick?? Shame on rude people!!!

Mary Jane crocs are what made the cut... interesting. I am in the midst of a shoe quandry myself.

More great pictures Miss LL!! :goodvibes

Yay a new installment

First off, you are the only people I've ever seen that look good doing that "I'm excited to be at...." pose. I look like a moron in everyone...like my arms aren't attached right to my body!

Secondly, there is nothing WRONG with loving Billy Joel. He's fabulous. Now I love Elton John. THERE is something that is "wrong on many levels!" Seriously Elton John/Billy Joel at the Garden was the best show I've ever seen and I will now bore you with my Billy Joel story.

When we were dating, Randy got me tickets for Elton John/Billy Joel for Xmas. BUT, he waited too long to go online so he got seats LITERALLY in the last row of the Garden...couldn't get further away from the stage. But I wasn't complaining because I love them. So, we are sitting in our crappy noise bleed seats and this guy comes up to us. He tells us that he works for Billy Joel and that Billy told him to come up to the people in the crappy seats and "trade them" for better seats. I IMMEDIATELY believe this a scam and tell my DBF (now DH) not to do it. He of course does not listen. The guy tells us that we have to switch our tickets with him and the deal is that he's not telling us where our new seats are until we trade. AGAIN, I say this is SCAM...and again my DH doesn't listen.

As it turns out...it was the one time in his life that DH was right :rotfl:

It wasn't a scam. The guy did work for Billy Joel and we got to sit in Billy Joel's "family and friends" section. We sat next to Barry and Elliot (the Jordan's Furniture guys). So there you have it...Billy Joel rocks! And we got 2nd row seats for the show!

I spotted quite the handsome man that I just had to get a picture with for a special DIS'er....'s.....daughter! Hehehe. For CP and her DD!!

LL, I am completely teary-eyed that you took a photo with Bo -- Chelsea's "main man." Call me a sap, but you have made my night! I absolutely cannot wait to show Chelsea tomorrow morning -- she will be so tickled! :goodvibes

Now, I am going back to read properly. :rotfl:

I was determined to get a picture of the Carousel horse from Mary Poppins. There was no one in line, NO ONE. I couldn't even pause properly, Marc was rushing me through the queue. Grrrrr.

I love this ride, too! Connor loves it, too -- I think I mentioned in my TR how he wanted to make sure Charles and Chelsea rode it with us this year -- oh, but remember, Charles slept through it. Pfffttt!

I love the end with all the movie clips. LOVE IT!

I always get a lump in my throat!

......BILLY JOEL'S HANDPRINT. I was so excited. I love Billy. Yes, we are on a first name basis. In High School, I wanted to marry him. I know this is wrong on many levels but I adore him. Still do. People were looking at me like I was crazy but I didn't care, I was with Billy. *Sigh*

Pssttt...Charles LOVES Billy Joel -- he would probably like to get his picture made with the handprints if he wasn't trying to maintain his cool! ;)

On the way I spotted a display of memorabillia from the grand opening of Mary Poppins. Of course I took pictures.

My mother would love this! She is a huge Mary Poppins fan!

Sadly. That is all I have time for tonight. You will just have to wonder about our last minute ADR until the next installment. ;)

NOOOO!!!!

Shame about the pushy parents! :headache:
