It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

PS- I meant to mention that I made one of your photos my desktop background today and I smiled everytime I saw it thinking of how much fun you had on your trip and hopefully how much fun I will have on mine. I used the mickey pumpkin head on the lamp post photo. Who knows... maybe I'll use a new one every day! Thanks for sharing your photos and your trip with us!! :goodvibes

I am really glad we did breakfast. I hope you called, it was one of our favorite ADR's and it's so awesome being able to go into the park before the crazy crowds.

Yep, I sure did call! 8:05 a.m. at CP! :woohoo: Crystal Palace, that is, not Charleston Princess'. Although I'm sure Jackie would put out a wonderful breakfast spread for us, too. :rolleyes1

I would try, but I highly doubt that I could come up with anything as delicious as that breakfast lasagna!!! :goodvibes

And the closest we would get to Eeyore is Charles moping around before his morning coffee. :lmao:

I love the first pic! You need to frame that one. :worship:

Isn't Lady Tremaine's dress cool? I've never seen it up that close.

LL, I had lots of updates to read today as I've been so caught up with stuff here at home over the weekend!

I LOVE your photographs! And we have an 8:05 Crystal Palace booked for our trip as well so I appreciated seeing what the 'reservations' sign looked like and schtuff.

More later!

Wow!!! Great update!!

So, there is no way that I can top CP's listy response so I won't even try...

First off- thanks for the warning that your updates may be >1 post. No need to apologize!! From my perspective your updates can be 4-5+ posts!! ::yes::

You really did get some great pictures. Many of the angles/shots were new to me and a very fresh take on WDW, she says in her photography critic voice (whatever that is). That one that you said you were especially proud of is very cool. I like the way it is naturally framed. Are you planning to do anything special with that picture?

Boo to the CM who picked the opening family! Who says that just b/c you don't have kids you're not a family?! Do you ever listen to the DIS Unplugged podcast? They would say that was "hate speech against those who choose not to have kids."

And double boo to the mom and teenage girl. Karma will get them in the end.:headache:

Yippee for going around on Peter Pan 2x in a row! Thanks for the pineapple shout out in IASW!

Love, love, LOVE the sword in the stone picture of the two of you. That is definitely a keeper!!
I am going to frame quite a few of my pictures I think. I would like to get some nice frames and get some larger prints of them if I can. I think it would be really nice to hang in our new apartment when we move in early spring. Oh and I love your photography critic voice! :goodvibes

Oh you should. I took a photography class for my "science" during my undergrad (!!!...ya, I was that good at science!) and then I took a couple more as an "adult" at Northern Essex (the local community college). They were really fun. I'd like to take another one about my DSLR (when I took photography, it was still with film) because my camera can do so many cool things but I don't have a ton of motivation to just sit around and try to learn them. Much more fun in a class. Here is my tripod advice. Make sure you get one that is fairly tall. I had to lean over still to use mine and if a tall person stood in front of me (like on Main St), I lost the shot. Also, get a tripod that tilts your camera veritically. The best shots of the castle needs to be shot vertically to get in the whole thing. I had to just sit my camera on top on the tripod because it didn't "hold" the camera veritically.
Thanks for the advice. I do want one that tilts because you do need that with the castle. I am going to have research all the different options! :yay:

Well, your great photos made my night and gave me a great big dose of Disney magic! :goodvibes

Such a cool idea even if you did get it from someone else.

Oh, you should! That would be a fun activity to look forward to!
I am so glad they did!

You guys are really good for my self esteem!!

Could we put a tail on him? :rotfl2:

I took the Vera Bradley Messenger Bag. Don't get me wrong, I really love the bag but it was too bulky for WDW. I think one of the Vera backpacks or hipsters would work really well. The hipster is too small for my "stuff". :rotfl2:

Thanks for joining in!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the advise!!!

I'm in Lowell, born and raised. You? Oh and congratulations on your recent wedding! :bride:

Hey LL, just wanted to say I loved your update and can't wait to hear more!!

We have yet to do a breakfast in Disney. This year, for our December trip, I have one scheduled for me and DH at Kona. I am not a breakfast person, I like to sleep in later in the morning and would rather try and get in as much as possible then to stop and sit through a breakfast. Plus, I am not an egg lover! I do however like pancakes, and I am already planning to try the Tonga toast! DH is a breakfast lover, so I figured I would do him a favor and book one just for him. I would love to try CP, but I couldn't get in for the day and time I wanted. Oh well, someday...

I love breakfast. I don't get to go all out and eat breakfast often so it's a special treat. DH is actually cooking breakfast for dinner tonight, I am really excited! It's not Tonga Toast but it will do!

Love your new banner LL!
Thank you! I was feeling depressed about putting a ticker out for 2 years until our next trip so settled on some photos instead!

Hey there LL.. I have been lurking for a while just figured I would come out and say hello and love all the picture and the TR!:goodvibes
