It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I avoid paying full-price for movies if I can. Do you have AMC Cinemas in your area? If so, movies are $5 if you see them before noon on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. It may be more than $5 depending on your market area, but it should still be a lot cheaper.
I usually always try to go to the matinee but since we wanted to go on Friday that wasn't going to happen. Oh well.

I feel so fortunate to have all of you to talk to. I have a serious lack of good girlfriends right now, so I really, really appreciate everyone putting up with me. :goodvibes
I second that! I have a lack of "good" girlfriends as well. I have friends but they aren't always there when you need them.

You know, I'm very similar with the vacation bills. Not a problem...it's the student loan that makes me :furious:

:grouphug: I totally agree:goodvibes ....and the best thing is you folks don't think my Disney obsession is abnormal:lovestruc

I for one do not "put up with you". I love talking with you guys. :goodvibes

This is the truth. When my friends want to go out they aren't willing to drive and meet me half way, I need to go to them. Not like I mind doing that some of the time, but this is all the time. And I found myself needing a pick me up after work last week and no one was willing to travel and meet me for dinner. :(

Then I went home and got on the computer and you guys were on and chatting about something and it instantly cheered me up.

You guys are the best!

I totally agree! I have a friend (my maid of honor) and she bailed out on my shower so my mom had to finish doing everything. We live about 75 minutes away from each other and she never ever offers to do anything down here where I am. I get sick of her telling me to drive up, we haven't gone out in the year that I have been living down here. Or when I am up there visiting and have plans with her at night, she will cancel on me last minute. It's very annoying. She doesn't seem like that great of a friend right now.

Whenever you need a pick me up, you just let us know!

It totally is frustrating. They are about an hour away from me without traffic, but just getting to the half way point in rush hour....on 93 can take an hour to an hour and a half.

I know where to look :goodvibes

Awww....

I missed the love fest while I was putting DS down for his nap!

I want in, I want in!;)

I love you guys, too!:grouphug:

I totally understand that. My friend won't even meet me half way, she tells me "I don't do well with directions." Ugh. I have had about enough of her. As sad as it sounds, I think I am not going to put much effort into the friendship much longer.

I know where to look :goodvibes
You got it!

You are in MA, as well right?

Hey guys,

I just posted on Tink's report but I notice today that Southwest fares have dropped a bit depending on your flight times. I don't know if you've all purchased your airfare yet, but it might be worth a look-see.

You are already in the love fest!!

I want a nap! It is exactly 81 Degrees in my office. I am melting and I am very cranky. :furious:

Thanks for the heads up!
Do you use magical express when you fly southwest, just carry your own baggage?

I am too cheap...ahem...I mean frugal...to turn on the central air in our apartment yet, so I have windows open and healthy cross breeze going. That being said, it's hot in here. Normally I'm not so "hey, how you doin'" but I'm only wearing my sports bra and yoga pants and trying to avoid walking by our windows...:lmao:

We check some, carry some, and use a town car service. It's an added expense, but it saves so much time, and we can't imagine not starting our vacation with Bill. We've known him for years....since I was in high school.

81 freaking degrees. I am not happy when I am this hot. I envy you, there are only so many clothes you can take off while you are working.

WOW you're lucky you can do that, if I walked around in my bra and my joggers it would scare small children to their bed:scared1:

396 DAYS UNTIL DISNEY.....the diet/exercise programme MUST start soon:eek:

I agree, what I am wearing is definitely not work appropriate attire.

I did, however, get something accomplished today. I cleaned out my whole closet, and got rid of two garbage bags full of clothes to donate.

I'm really excited, because I haven't been wearing the stuff and I'm big on not taking up unnecessary space. I've grown to hate clutter even though we still have a ton of it...if it's good clutter, no big deal, if it's wasteful, give it someone who could use it, kwim?

Anyhoo, I did go looking on Chadwick's website and found some very cute tops on clearance, but refrained...perhaps later in the week after we get paid and I see if there's any extra in the budget.

I meant to clean out my closet this weekend but my laziness prevented me from doing it. I hate hate hate clutter. DF is a pack rat and it drives me nuts. I rather throw it out/donate it then let it gather dust. You should see how many cords the man has..."just in case." I politely told him that almost whatever you buy comes with the needed cords.

Oh, I'm not going to pretend there's some flab hanging around and a little more "junk in the trunk" than I would like, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.:thumbsup2
