I had a brainstorm today. Lightening stuck you could say. I realized that I would be in Disney in exactly FOUR WEEKS!
Since I am itinerary obsessed and I've changed it so many times that I need a refresher course, I've decided to post each day of my trip in correlation to the four week mark for each day, in list form of course!
Saturday August 30th
Depart @ 9:35AM.
For now. I keep checking our flights and so far so good. No changes. Fingers are crossed that it stays that way. MIL is taking us to the airport and is also stopping in to check on the kitties for us. I figure this is a test for if she can handle future grandchildren. Any mistakes and I have got ammunition for life.
Arrive in Orlando @ 12:34PM
We will be taking Magical Express to Pop Century. I am a little nervous about the whole baggage transfer thing. I don't want it to get lost! Yikes! That would be bad. I have to investigate what kinds of carry on toiletries that you can bring on the plane.
Check In at Pop
If it's too early for our room, we plan to arrange for our bags to held. If our room is ready, we'll make a quick pit stop to refresh a bit and check out our new home for the next four nights.
Lunch - 1 CS Each
I have lunch penciled in at Everything Pop or another CS establishment probably at EPCOT.
Head to EPCOT/DIS Meet
We are going to head to EPCOT, where we will be meeting up with Crissy for a mini DIS meet.

I am very excited to meet one of my LapuLapuettes in person! I think the plan is for Crissy to meet us at EPCOT, maybe take in a ride or two together or maybe even a drink!
* I am not going to list all of the attractions we will be partaking in at the parks, I think I have been there done that in this PTR.
Dinner - 1 CS Each
I am not sure where the wind will take us for this CS dinner. TK has suggested something from Mexico so that we can grab a table for Illuminations. DH has interest in the Tangerine Cafe and I have interest in the Fish & Chips from England. The world is literally at our fingertips.
Illuminations @ 9PM
The plan is to grab some food right before Illuminations but as I type this out I am not so sure I like that idea. I want to make sure I have my hands free for photographing and for cuddling with my DH. I think fireworks are extremely magical and romantic. Believe it or not, DH and I have NEVER seen fireworks together. This will be our first fireworks. Awww. I just got a bit misty eyed!

Okay! Time for a new plan. Grab something to eat with enough time to find a spot and finish our food before Illuminations starts.

After Illuminations we will head back to Pop for a good night's rest since we have to be up early the next day....
I am happy I decided to type these all out. It makes Disney feel even more real. I am super excited! Plus with the trip being closer, I feel like I have a better grasp on how we want to spend our time if that makes sense.
I also have a shoe update for you. I have ordered another pair.
In all honesty, I had been looking for them when I went shoe shopping on Thursday but they did not have my size. I have finalized the shoe wardrobe for Disney. Aren't you proud?
These are the new lovelies that are being shipped to me from Shoebuy. Aren't they adorable? These shoes work in the "Great Foot Pain Avoidance of 2008" as follows. They are compact enough that I can carry them in my Vera Bradley Messenger bag and not feel like a pack mule. They can be switched and traded as feet need comfort. I also think on days where we are going back to the park after a rest/relax session back at the resort, I can wear these lovelies. Or around the pool. I think they will be my in between shoe. If I do wear these to a park, I will be bringing back ups for sure. I think the key for me to avoid foot pain is having options to trade off and on throughout the day.
Sadly, I was not able to wear these beauties out today since those stupid black shoes have eaten up my heel. Stupid shoes. I plan to start breaking these beauties ASAP. I think these will be my morning shoe. Start the day off on the right foot, eh?
A blast from the past! I do adore my Mary Jane
Crocs. I have purple ones as well. I think these puppies are going to my primary afternoon shoe. I do prefer to wear these with thin socks when walking a great distance. It actually helps my foot not be sweaty or squeaky. The Adidas flip floppers will be mixed in as an afternoon/evening shoe as well.
Hopefully this ends the Great Shoe Drama of 2008. I am so done with shoes. Done. D. O. N. E. Done Ditty Done Da Dum Da Done. Did you like my Done song?
It's going to be a good week, an update everyday!!
