It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

I love that LL will be your initials after you are married! :thumbsup2

Ahhh, Epcot -- such a lovely park! I can't wait to do World Showcase with the kids this year!

I about died when I read why you liked your initials! That was too funny. :lmao: I think your plans for Epcot look great, it's definitely also a stop and smell the dole whips/slushies/yummy alcoholic beverages kind of park.

I really think you're going to enjoy it, the plans look totally doable. :thumbsup2

Great Pre-trip report...can't wait to read more about it and the wedding :)
Thanks for the post on my PTR, too.....by the way, when you mentioned Bob Saget for the Coral Reef, what did you mean? We are going there, too so I was just curious!
Looking forward to more...
There was an episode of Full House, way back in the day where the whole gang went to WDW and Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) was trying to propose to his gf at Coral Reef and of course Jesse and Joey messed it up for him. Of course I just thought this was so romantic when I watched it. This episode of Full House just futhered my obsession with WDW.

Thanks for coming over to read!

I think it will be great, I am so excited. I have also decided I am going to have a theme beverage for each park, just to add to the greatness of WDW.

I do remember that episode of Full House now! I will remember that when we are eating there. Also I saw it mentioned that Epcot is a "dole whips" kind of place. So can I only find Dole Whips in Epcot? Or are they in MK, too? In DL they are right by the Tiki room...and they quickly became a favorite of ours!
Love reading all these posts and your PTR.......

Love reading all these posts and your PTR.......

Uncle Jesse also "put on a concert" in front of the castle at MK, it was one of my favorite episodes!

I believe the dole whips are only in MK at Aloha Island....I think. I have never had one before so I am hoping to try one this trip.

I have decided to have a theme drink at each park just for fun. I haven't decided what my drink will be for EPCOT yet.

To the best of my knowledge, the MK is the only place you can get the dole whip float, however, they do have some dole whip soft serve in Captain Cook's, the counter service at the Polynesian.

I did love that episode too. And when Steven was Indiana Jones...too cute.

I finally had time today to experiment with my new camera. :woohoo: This was a spur of the moment decision/purchase. I have been wanting a new camera but figured I would wait, that my current camera would be fine for the honeymoon and WDW trip. Boy oh boy, am I stimulating the economy!! I bought a Canon Powershot S5 IS. I am so excited, it looks like a "real" camera. I have been wanting to upgrade and I have. I am still learning everything and can't wait to show my Dad, he will be able to tutor me on all of it's features. I went out and played around with it today and wanted to share some of the shots. I really love photography and dream about learning more and doing more.

LL, I'm impressed. For someone who thinks they need to learn more, those are some very, very nice photos! Enjoy your new purchase! :goodvibes

Awwww, thanks! I really, really enjoy it.
My Dad is the same way, he has been taking pictures for years and years and this past fall he finally entered some of his photos in a contest and every photo he entered, placed! Three first place prizes and one second. It's in the genes! ;)
What's even better, one of DF's Aunts (My favorite...shhh don't tell) came over today. I have watched the poor woman for two years, take pictures of family events with her cell phone. I scrolled through all of pics one day, and she had over 100 on the phone! It was nuts. I gave her my old one. I was so happy to give it to her, she insisted on giving me something for it, which I didn't want to take but you know Auntie's, they know best. It just made me feel good because she was so excited, her son and dil are having a baby in October so I am so happy that she will be able to take lots and lots of pictures....and not on her cell phone! PLUS her other son is thinking about taking his daughter to WDW next year and she thought it was so great that I knew all of this "inside" stuff so she is going to tell him and I even told her we could go with them because they are so overwhelmed. His daughter is 8, so it would be so much fun to see it through her eyes, plus give me an excuse to take someone to BBB Boutique! Yayayayaya! Today was just a great day!

That's awesome about your dad entering and winning so much. Seems like it really is in the cards. And yay for you with the good karma handing off the old camera to auntie. Very, very nice. Perhaps even a newly scheduled Disney trip will come of it.

I have no idea whether or not it will ever happen, but I would love to see my nieces at Disney some day. Girls at Disney are a totally different experience than boys. It makes me wistful, and almost...almost...want to have another one. Alas...I barely have energy for DS! :lmao:

I have decided that I need a trip mascot as previously mentioned. Well, I found one. But, she is a Pre-PreTrip Mascot, because you see, she is for.....our honeymoon cruise!
I found Miss Ariel at Target the other day and thought she was perfect to bring along on the cruise...for practice if you will before the big WDW trip. She will also bring the Disney Magic to our cruise. You have no idea how much it pains me that our cruise is not Disney related, this helps heal that pain just a bit.
I don't know if Ariel will be joining us in WDW, we have to see how it works out. I think I may have something else for the September trip.

I introduce to you, my loyal readers...Ariel, The Little Mermaid! Note the cute sunglasses.

Ruby investigating.

We took Ariel on our jaunt to the Arboretum today, also known as the place DF proposed to LL.

LL, can I have a drink of water?
IMG_0101.jpg

Alas, the water fountain was not operational yet.

This is an awfully big bench for one little mermaid!

Mermaids don't climb trees!

Shhhh! We are bunny watching!

DF looked at me in absolute horror when I asked him to pose for a picture with Ariel. This is the best I could do. It backfired in the end for DF. He looked at the picture and realized I have not been lying to him about his bald spots. LL is always right!:lmao:

I had quite a lot of fun with Ariel today. She is quite the picture poser. I think she is properly attired for our cruise to Bermuda, plus she's already got shades to protect her eyes from those harmful UV rays! :cool2:
Stay tuned for more "Mermaid Adventures"

I really hope so, it would be so much fun.

My mom says she is glad that she had my brother and I close because if she had thought about it much longer, I would have been an only child. :lmao: I have to say I have always wanted to experience Disney with a "future" daughter but reading your tales with your DS makes me want to take a "future" son as well. If that makes ANY sense at all. :lmao:

Those pictures are really good!!!

Well, LL, who would have thought your gm was Morgana!!!!:rotfl:

Well, LL, who would have thought your gm was Morgana!!!!:rotfl:
:lmao: :lmao: There are no words to describe my gm. It's bad enough that my mom (who is as close to an angel you can get and still be human) doesn't want to sit with her own mother at my wedding! Nor does my aunt. :lmao: It's making the seating chart awful tricky! I often wonder how my mom and aunt were able to turn out so "normal".

Hey LL, I love, love, love your cruise trip mascot. She is just the cutest little mermaid I have ever seen! I cannot wait to see multiple photos of her in various situations...enjoying a tropical drink, lounging by the pool, flipping her fins in the ocean...NOUrsulatakingovertheship...:lmao:

Aww, I'm glad that my running commentary on my son has made you interested in the world of boy. Truly, when I was first pregnant, everyone thought I was having a girl. I guess because I had wanted one for so long. But the night before my ultrasound, she didn't tell me, but my mom said to my nana, I know its a boy. As a matter of fact, when we called my father he said "no sh-" He was really excited. See, he let me in on when he was younger, and having us, he didn't feel confident enough to raise boys, just his own insecurities. So he is over the moon on having a grandson. Oddly enough, when I found out he was a boy, I was relieved...because truthfully, in the deepest recesses of my heart, I did not feel confident enough to raise a girl. Isn't that funny? So silly now, but I am soooooooo glad that God blessed me with a little boy. Even though I'm always amazed at the copious amounts of energy and the things that he likes to do, I think it's been wonderful and eye-opening. Everyone should be so lucky. :goodvibes
