It's 18 degress outside... "It's not like it's cold"...

I DID actually say that to my dh this morning when he was wondering whether or not to put on his snow pants to snowblow the driveway...

We've had such a long, COLD (colder than normal) winter so far... many, many days in the single digits and a couple of mornings it was MINUS 12 when I put poor DS on the bus...

18 degrees is a heatwave!! YEAH!!

I think everyone up north must have "thicker" skin than I. My joints HURT when it gets that cold. I think it is suppose to be in the low 60's here today.

Isn't it amazing how warm 18 degrees feels after a week or so of subzero temps? I'm still surprised by that phenomenon.

I thought the same thing when I went outside this morning! It does seem to be getting colder again though, I think the wind picked up some.
