It May be Crowded but Enjoy it!

We are not down at our home away from home for the first time This Xmas-New years in 4 years. We took this week to do a ski trip with indoor water parks for a change of pace. Needless to say, I am homesick and am really enjoying the updates from many of you! Now biding our time and counting down to our spring break trip and 8 nights at VGC.

It may be crowded but I wish we were with you!!

Do enjoy your trip. I understand why you decided to do something different and you picked a great substitute.

We had decided to skip WDW this NYE, but then at 7 months we changed our minds, and have BLT and OKW and VB through the next week.

So, you followed through with your desire for change and we chickened out and are doing the same ole! We are both lucky to have the wherewithal for making NYE extra special!

I have similar feelings... Due to a confluence of factors we are not at WDW for NYE, either. We switched to Thanksgiving the past couple of years. Last year, we went to the Rose Parade for New Years, so we were so busy with fun activities I didn't have much time to think about it.

This year we are home for the holidays--which has also been fun...but the past couple of days I have been thinking about WDW. The thing I miss the most is the spectacular fireworks..especially at the MK on 30 Dec (the rehearsal) and on the 31st. And, the 2 fireworks shows at EPCOT where we would see the early show at EPCOT and swing back to BLT and watch the midnight MK fireworks show. I don't think I can ever get enough of the fireworks shows!
