Issue with our TA, advise please!

I think you quoted the wrong post because I totally agree with you. A TAs job is to make the customer happy and yes sometimes you will have to deal with someone who changes their mind a milliom times. The OP really isn't the one changing her mind either she just wanted to get the best deal in her ideal location and when she wasn't getting responses for that she reached out again about a similar deal.

I generally agree here. I also work in sales and travel. Goal is to make the customer happy by booking them a good value for money trip ( unless high-end where cost is no issue) while satifying their needs, wants, wishes even ifnthey dont know it. And these plans can change. No big deal. BUT there are some exceptional cases where a client is high maintaince ( in OPs case not) but travel agents are human and not a PA. I had heard of clients where the agent lost money if they looked at it in hourly billing service. There almost needs to be a new job besides agent. Planning consultant. This is beyond booking a trip. But planning. Some agents get sucked into doing everything.
