When using a scooter have you found any one moderate resort to be better than another for any reason?

I currently have Coronado Springs booked with a bounceback for next year. I am going to add a few days at Caribbean Beach to the beginning of that stay. For various reasons I don't want to spend my whole stay at CBR. I have stayed at all of the other moderates before, but never with a scooter. I was guessing that CSR would be a good choice, as I have found the buses are not as full as those at the other moderates due to it being a convention resort. But now I'm second guessing myself.

Is there any reason to pick one moderate (excluding CBR) over the others when using a scooter?

Are you reserving a HA room AT CBR? That's the only way to guarantee a 1st floor room. The resort doesn't have elevators. Carrying the scooter up stairs doesn't sound like fun.

POFQ is a nice resort.

CSR is a nice resort, particularly the tower.

Scooters can be an issue. The scooter spots at the 1st bus stop might be taken by returning guests. The spots might be occupied by departing guests by the time the bus makes it to the last internal stop. More of a theoretical problem

No I am not. Do you think we would be better off at Pop? I was hoping to skip the skyliner connection point. But do you think getting a ground floor non HA room would be a problem at CBR?

I do have a preferred room booked at CSR, so I was hoping that would help with the bus/scooter challenge too. So maybe I should stick with that for the back half of the vacation, or switch to POFQ?

It's a reservable room category. Give it a shot. Otherwise Check in early CBR will try and give you a 1st floor room. Very high probability BUT technically it's a request.

If you opt to not book a HA room, you need to call and tell them you need a ground floor room due to having a mobility device and inability to do stairs. It is just a request but one would hope that at a massive resort like CBR, you could score a ground floor room. And I would make no other requests.
