ISO: Disney crafts for 8 year olds before visit

My 8 year old will be performing at Disney with her dance team in 8 weeks. 2 of her friends who are also dancing will be sleeping over our house this week. I would love to do some crafts with the girls in preparation of our trip. Can anyone suggest some child friendly crafts to make before a trip?

I am thinking Disney colored ribbon flip flops and either Disney colored bead bracelets or button bracelets. Perhaps starting their autograph books? All of the girls have been to WDW before but this is their first time going together and their first time performing there.

I have lots of jewelry supplies/tools, scrapbooking supplies and a Cricut if that helps.

I think flip flop and autograph books are great ideas! Or maybe matching shirts for them?

What about doing Mickey shrink it. You can punch it with a Mickey punch, let the girls color them & make them into a bracelet after they are baked. You could use clay and do the same thing.

Our friends daughter made a Mickey washer necklace. She got inexpensive washers at Home Depot or Lowe's. They are just silver. She left them like that & glued the 2 smaller ones to the one big one. It was cute that way but your daughter & her friends could paint the washers or wrap them with ribbon or yarn. I want to make one but haven't had a chance.

If you have pop tops around & some Disney ribbon or Disney colors of ribbon let them make a pop top bracelet. Just weave ribbon through pop tops & tie around wrist. Really fun. Some people paint the pop tops but it chips to me so I just use silver ones.

We made the Disney flip flops and painted their nails in Disney colors. I even painted tiny black Mickey heads on their red finger nails.
