Is Undercover tourist the cheapest?

Yes, it is legit. And it's the cheapest place we've found! Have you signed up for Mousesavers? If you go through the link in their monthly newsletter, you get the cheapest price. Just remember when you're looking, UT includes taxes and they have free shipping! Good luck!

Definitely legit, and it is the cheapest for the tickets we buy (5, 6 or 7 day hoppers). As the PP said, sign up for the Mousesavers.com newsletter (comes out the 15th of each month) to get a link for a few dollars off UCT's prices.

Tickets are subject to 6.5% tax, no matter where they are purchased. UCT's tickets have tax and shipping included as the PP said. If you compare the prices to Disney's website, be aware that Disney adds the tax and shipping at checkout - you won't see it when you first select the tickets.

I agree with what everyone else says... it is definitely legit and has the best prices I have seen on park tickets over 5 days. We usually get a 10 day park hopper with plus options - it's a ton - but we can use them on 5-6 trips! And, yes, sign up for the Mousesavers newsletter so you can save a little more with her link that comes the 15th of each month. :thumbsup2

Not only are they the cheapest but they will help you out if you do something stupid like wash your passes while staying at a DVC resort with those wonderful laundry rooms.

:rotfl2:

It is a good idea to photocopy the back of the tickets (or take a picture of them) so that you have the serial numbers in case the unthinkable happens (or you leave them at home, which at least one person on the DIS has reported doing). They can be reissued if you have the numbers from the back.

Here is another story of hoe "legit" they are...

We arrived at the MK by monorail, as a thunderstorm broke. We ran to the front gate and DD realized she LOST her 6 day hopper. :headache:

I went right to guest relations with my nieces ticket, both girls tickets were from Undercover Tourist, and I said they went into the parks together the last couple of days.......... Guest relations ran the niece's ticket, asked me "both were purchased from Undercover Tourist??" I said yes, and they were able to cancel the lost pass and replace it on the spot! :thumbsup2

All before DH even caught wind of the lost ticket (DD was freaking out that he would be really mad at her, etc). He still has no idea this happened. :rolleyes1

First, I assume it is legit?? And, is this the cheapest place to get passes?

They are totally legit and AMAZING. They're the cheapest place we have found.

I won't say you WON'T find cheaper, but these guys are not only cheap but the customer service is out of this world. Prices listed include tax AND shipping. They get the tickets to you inside of 12 business days guaranteed ( and offer express shipping if needed ). In our case, we once ordered for 20 people, so they threw in the express shipping free of charge.

Not only that, but they will refund any UNUSED tickets no questions asked. ( We know from experience ).

Plus, to further express the legitimacy of the tickets, make a photocopy of the back of your tickets. If you lose it, you can go to any DISNEY ticket booth to get it re-issued if you have that copy. You can also get the tickets upgraded at Disney ticket booths.

UT with the newsletter code is the cheapest for the general public. It's about an 8% discount IIRC. Major employers sometimes have deals that are better. I work for IBM, and we had a 12% discount when I bought about a year ago. Also, the military discount is good (43% off a 4-day pass).

Can you just book room and dining plan thru Disney, and get tickets thru Undercover Tourist, or do you have to have tickets thru Disney to book dining?

My understanding is you need to have at least a 1-day pass to even get the dining plan. ( In other words, dining plan is only available for a PACKAGE ). You CAN book only the hotel though and get the tickets from UT.

So we could book a 1 day ticket thru Disney, then get the other 6thru UT?

We use UT with the mousesavers discount every time. Cheapest I have found, and they're awesome about sending them out in the mail within a day or two of ordering. LOVE them. And when they mail them they send a tracking number, too. I ordered ours on Tuesday, and they are already at my local post office sorting facility. I should get them tomorrow for sure, or today if they're really speedy sorters! :goodvibes

You CAN... but in that case you might as well get all of them through Disney. It'll be cheaper than doing a 7 day through Disney than a 1 day through Disney and a 6 day through UT.

I don't think that is true, since DVCers can add the dining plan and most have annual passes.
