We like to rope drop and typically drive but say we want to fly this time, are Ubers readily available early in the morning?

do they seat 6?

You can request larger cars - the availability might lessen for those, but you can definitely order TWO sedans.
I'd assume that sedans are very active in the early am. In my experience, you can expect a car in a matter of minutes almost any time of day. There is a LOT of money to be made in WDW. We would request one when we walked out of our room door, and never waited more than three minutes.

About How much is an Uber from resort to park?

You can find that information right on the Uber website.
Or even the app itself. Just manually move the Pin (or type in the location in the start box) to Disney and then enter your destination. Select the car size you want (at least Plus for sure) and it will give you the price. You can even check this at the time of day you plan to use it, see how many cars you notice on the map.

I've ubered from Bay Lake Tower (next to the Magic Kingdom) to the Boardwalk Resort area a couple of times and the cost was $7 and $8 respectively (excluding tip)

Your OP is a little ambiguous, but I'm assuming you're talking about from your resort to the rope drop -- NOT from the airport to rope drop. Right?

For six, you need to order an Uber XL. One XL will be less expensive than two X's in Orlando.

An XL will transport 6 people without luggage, coolers, multiple strollers, etc. If you're taking a lot of STUFF in addition to six people, you might need an XL and an X.

lol yeah sorry, I was talking about from resort to park in the mornings so no luggage and junk. thx

Ive gotten ubers in a matter of minutes before 6am at WDW resorts. JimMIA's advice on the UberXL is spot on.

Same as the PP, I got a Lyft just before 7a in under 10 min. From what the app showed it looked like he was coming from an Epcot are resort so I figured he was doing a drop off somewhere near there.
