Is tony's that bad?

My husband thinks it is awful. We were on the DDP back in 2005 and ate here for our last meal. He says he app, entree and dessert weren't really good at all. DS didn't like his pizza, but I enjoyed my meal.

We very much enjoy Tony's Town Square, and look forward to dinner, and/or lunch there. The servers have been very good, and we like the food, too!

My problems at Tony's were poor attitude from the staff and lack of choices on the menu. The bad vibes from the staff caused me to walk out.

We aren't really fancy diners by any means (Red Lobster is considered "fine dining" for us) and we loved Tony's! My husband is picky and he loved it - even ate the asparagus that came with his meal. Beyond that, our server was excellent - probably the most delightful server of our entire trip. She really went above and beyond. We will definately be heading to Tony's again.

DW and I always may it a point to make ADR for Tony`s. We love it and have either have lunch or dinner there. We have our ADR for our May vist to WDW. The food has always been the best and the severs the greatest. :goodvibes

I have been twice. On the first visit I was impressed, on the second I thought it was only okay. There are lots of better places to eat, imo.

We've always enjoyed it, although the last trip, we seemed to get a server with a bad attitude.

But it's one of those restaurants the entire family looks forward to going back to over and over again. I don't think it's bad at all!

We always do Tony's for a late lunch and then head right out to catch the parade.:woohoo: DS and DD love the spaghetti; DH the rigatonni and sausage and I think the Tony's special pizza is wonderful:thumbsup2 We do our dinners at Mama Melrose in MGM and will be trying Tutto's for the first time at lunch in Junepopcorn:: :surfweb: :cool2: princess:

We've had lunch there a few trips back and dinner there this last trip and enjoyed it both times. I liked the lunch but enjoyed the dinner a lot more. On this last trip we had the BEST server there. He was really terrific. So much so that we left an additional $10 plus the tip inlcluded with the DDP (this was for a family of 5 but one being a baby who ate off of our plates). He was that good.

Tony's was the Best TS Meal that we had on our whole trip.
I considered cancelling because of bad reviews but my
DS really wanted to eat there and we are so glad we did.
I food was very good and the server very attentive,
nice (we left extra tip for her).
We did not order basic Spaghetti but had Grilled fish, Ny Steak and the Flatbread pizza--
everyone was happy with their choice.
We also ate an early lunch whenever Tony's 1st opened
so it was not crowded at all.
We will definately be eating there again next trip!!!:thumbsup2

We have eaten there the past 2 xmas trips. the food was fine both dinners, but as someone stated before, few choices for entrees. This xmas, we felt very rushed and had 3 cm waiting on us and bringing courses very quickly sometimes at the same time. When we finished entree the cm asked if we wanted her to pack up our desserts to go because Spectro was just finishing(we had a nice view from our table in the conservatory room) and the special fireworks would be starting and she was sure "we didn't want to miss them." We didn't know if that was sincere or just a way to get us our(we were eating at 8:30pm). We chose to have our dessert, but it was a plate with 3 desserts and no other choices. They were good, but last year we had choices, so I would probably not return this year, but it was not horrible, just rushed and limited choices.

We ate there about two years ago and had NY strip steaks - I have to say, they were really good. Overall, DH and I really liked it. I liked the dessert too. Service was good for us and it was kid friendly. I'd go there again, for sure.

We would like try Tony's for lunch. Has anyone had their meatball sub and is it any good? Just interested

We were there at the end of the evening - food was cold/overcooked, the place was a mess, and the section we ate in was way too cramped and crowded. Our table was a bit wobbly as well. I also thought the menu was very limited. I'd be willing to try it one more time, but only if we went earlier in the day.

Because we like to try new restaurants each trip - and after reading pretty good reviews - we tried Tony's and were disappointed.

That was 2 summers ago so it's a dated review. However, it was bad enough for us to disqualify it from future planning lists.
