We are already planning our next trip for October of 2005. As I think about how we are going to lay out our touring plan for each day, I keep going back to the plan we used this past February. There will be some minor changes (MNSSHP for one!), but for right now we will probably stay pretty close to "old faithful" plan from Feb.

Does anyone else do this? I mean, our planning was nearly perfect this past year, and we did everything we wanted to do multiple times. Should we stay with the same plan, or change it up for variety's sake? Any suggestions?

I personally would change it a little bit, so you can get some new things in. It's always good to stick with what works, and you can follow some of the time saving routines from your last trip. On our last trip I had a few must dos first thing in the morning, but I tried to be a little more spontaneous and the trip was much more enjoyable.

You can always start out following your touring plan, but be prepared to change course in midstream a bit. I think you'll be glad that you did.

Depends on how detailed that plan was. I mean did you plan out every 15 min increaments? Or just a general idea and they leave room for changes. For us we always try a few new things each trip (we go every 6-9 months). Or at least something we didn't get to do last time. However since your trip is still well over a year away you may be okay w/ doing the same thing since there is a decent break between the two.

I would throw in a few things and take some of the old ones out. I did that with my plan for this year. I'm going to spend a little time at a Disney resort or two to soak in a little of that DISNEY atmosphere since I only stay offsite right now. Talk to a DVC represative and hopefully go for a tour. That could be fun. I threw in a few offsite things too like Pirate's Adventure Dinner Show and Ripley's Believe it or not. We will take a stroll in DTD too.

Does your family have anything they want to do that you can add in your plan?

We stayed at a different resort the 2nd time around & tried new restaurants.....I think that if you had a pace that worked for you, stick with that, but, definately add some new stuff....we stuck with the "do stuff in the morning, take a break at resort, then do something in the evening" plan both times & that worked out best for us....just have a blast!!
