Is this right? Can’t book for length of stay

My booking window for ADR’s opened today for our onsite stay. We are staying at two different resorts. I was able to book online for the days the coincide with our first resort, which are the first 5 days of our trip, but I wasn’t able to book an ADR for the 6th day, which coincides with the second resort. I called the Disney dining line to book the rest that way and was told I can only book for the first resort days, even though both resorts are back-to-back. I have to wait for the 180-day window to open again for the second resort’s days. Is that right?

Yes, unfortunately Disney sees this as two separate reservations. Even though you are on site for all of those days, Disney doesn’t recognize it. You will have two 180+length-of-stay windows when you can make reservations.

I believe you will be ok for FP. I am not 100% sure since we are passholders and haven't done it in a while, but I think this is what I remember. Ask over on the theme park attraction and strategies board and someone will know for sure.

Your FP dates depend on how you booked your tickets. If you booked a ticket package with your first resort stay, you'll be fine.

Yep that room-only should also work since you are effectively linking the tickets to your first room only reservation. I think the only issue is if you have a package on your second resort stay. I believe Disney does treat them as separate reservations in that case.
