Is it odd that I am three months out and i have not heard anything or received a budget or had any contact with my planner for about 2 months? i am having an intimate so i know that there is not a whole lot of action to be taken, but this is making me slightly nervous.

I e-mailed rosie and my planner last week and have received no response.......so naturally i am freaking out as a bride should! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Has this happened to anyone else that can reassure me?

I think you have every right to be upset. I would copy all your emails to you coordinator and the planners assistant. I send everything to my planner and her assistant . Her assistant is usually the one who gets back to me.

Have you tried calling?
sometimes they can be flooded with emails, but are available to talk on the phone for a min....

I have a wedding in 6 weeks and haven't heard from mine after sending an email last week. I think that she might be on vacation or something.

Sajetto - do i remember you saying you have Juliana? That is who i have.....but she has not out of office alert posted.....maybe she forgot....

Rosie was out of the office for about a week, back today, so I bet she is swamped. My wedding is in less than 3 weeks and I only spoke to Rosie two weeks ago, and I have only had email exchanges with my planner. I am sure it will be fine, but if you are worried I would call my planner and leave a voice mail message, asking her to touch base with you.

I definitly have those problems! I just keep calling and e-mailing and calling and e-mailing :surfweb: . . . :badpc: . . . eventually I get someone! It can be very aggrevating! I hope everything works out!

My wedding was last Tuesday and I kept in touch with my planner, Tanis, through e-mail and when that didn't work- I overloaded her voicemail.

Tanis didn't go to the wedding- I had Juliana Acosta. She is so sweet and lovely. I know she, too, has been very busy lately with weddings (She worked mine and wasnt even my coordinator). I would leave an e-mail and then leave a couple of voicemails. If someone is out of the office for a while someone else normally checks their VM or they roll their phones over to someone else (Tanis had hers rolled to Michelle some last week).

GL!

We're an Intimate, too. And from what I understand, you really don't hear too much from them until about a month out from the date.

It took me three or four emails before I was able to get a ball-park estimate for the floral. And we still haven't sent in our planning kit, so I don't think I will see any pricing from the planner until we do that.

Which reminds me, we need to get crackin' on completing our planning kit!

With referene to pixie08's message...My understanding is the Intimate Wedding Coordinators do not have an assistant. If the wedding is a few months away, I would just leave a phone message to follow up your email...just ask if there is anything you should be doing. As your date gets closer your details will be confirmed.

The best time to get ahold of Juliana is around 10am! Or so I've found! Sometimes her phone rolls over to Michelle and she can give her a message and will call you back. Always leave a message! And email her. I've had pretty regular contact with her, but I do know that she's working a lot of weddings right now and not all are hers!!! Good luck, and just let her know that you need to talk to her and make sure you've done everything you need to have done! :sunny:

Good news and no news!

Well I heard from Rosie today and that made me feel much better. She let me know that she is submitting my budget today and i should be receiving a final budget by next week, yay! She also answered all of my questions that i had for her. So Yay for Rosie!!!! :cheer2:

But still no contact from my planner. I am gonna just wait it out for the week and see if anything happens, and then if still no response, I will call her sometime next week after Thanksgiving and all.

It is just that this wedding has rushed up on me real fast and I am now becoming that paranoid bride you always hear about! :rotfl:

I just can't believe it is almost here, it has came so fast, it feels like I just got engaged yesterday and turned in my contract! :rotfl: Then with the holidays and all I am in for a wild 3.5 months!

I can't wait! i am like a little girl seeing Cinderella's castle for the first time! :goodvibes :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

My planner is Amy & she has been out of office on events for the week. Julianna has been sending us info and has been great. Rosie was a great help and managed to get our budget over to us. Our UK agents had had it for 3 weeks but did not and have still not forwarded it on to us. Disney are great though

I had an Intimate back in August and Juliana was my coordinator, from my experience almost everything was done a month before the wedding.

I'm the opposite. I heard from my planner today, but not Rosie. I think she is most likely on Thanksgiving vacation.

Juliana isn't my planner anymore. I've seriously had planners changed 3 times! I'm praying that the one I have now is my last.

We had our planning session with Maxine on Oct. 31. Still no budget and we have only gotten one response to the several e-mails we have sent. I'm getting the feeling that ALL the details are going to end up getting worked out the day before the wedding (which btw is in less than 2 months!)
