Is the email saying that you get the $800 off plus the cruise? That's actually better than the current deals, where you're only getting $6 off per point for add-ons of 100 points. At 125 points, the discount goes up to $8 off per point. Very interesting...

I got the email as well and I believe it is the same as what is out there. If you look at dvcnews.com, an add on at the 100 points level gets $8.00 off per point PLUS a 3 day cruise OR the additional $6.00 off per point.

The only piece the email does not mention is the extra $6.00 off option that is currently available.

That was odd. At the end of the first part it had my guide's name and phone, then under that was the cruise thing..it was a PS. To me it's worded that you get the $800 off, PLUS the cruise, but I don't know why they made it a PS and not include it in the body of the email.

The additional points reduction is still available if you don't want the cruise. I just added on 50 points yesterday, but had I gone to 100, it would have been $98.00 per point.

I got the same email but I got it last week. Did I hear correctly that an add on of 100+ at BLT without the cruise is $98?? I paid $104 originally last Oct. I guess we are going to have to double down!!!!

I got the same email. Sounds like this is typical DVC enough info to get you to call for the details . But I'm a newbie to this whole thing. Just bought into BLT last month. You guys(diser's) are a wealth of laughs and information. Thanks for posting. I hope I can provide something funny and or usefull someday too!

This seems to be a re-affirmation of the existing, now, incentive for existing members to add on...nothing new:

Here is the current incentives that came out 4/1.....and rumored to end June 15th.

New contracts:
$8. discount off $112. for GC & BLT
$10. discount off $112. for AKV
$13. discount off $112. for SSR/THV

+ A Cruise

Existing/New members: (same as the previous incentive)
existing members Add on 100 pts: a 3 night cruise for 4 (160 for newbies)
existing members Add on 125 pts: a 4 night cruise for 4 (200 for newbies)
existing members Add on 200 pts: a 7 night cruise for 4 (270 for newbies)

BLT/VGV – 50-99 points - $104/pt

$800 discount is offered as $8/pt

Cruise is also included, or an additional $6/pt discount for more than 100 pt add-on.

The first points are available after the building opens in Aug. He wanted to sync the use year with my existing contract (June) which was my preference as well.

Down payment was 15% for taking the cruise option, to cover the cost of the cruise. Balance due with the paperwork.

Sooo... looks like DW and I will soon have two homes at Mouseland!
