Believe
Clyde and Seamore show
pets ahoy
blue horizons
manatees
Shark encounter
pacific point perserve
alure call of the ocean

less important:
shamu's happy harbor,
penguin encounter
sting ray lagoon
turtle point
dolphin nursery
key west at seaworld

We are taking a shuttle or taxi from disney property the middle/end of august on a weekday. I think they are only open til 7 that day. I know I have heard about feeding the dolpins. I don't know if my girls would do this. Is that worth it? Best time for that?

Thanks!!!

Since its a 7pm closing, plan to get there very early, park opening if you want to accomplish all of that. Also, it helps if you see where the shows are in accordance to the exhibits. Do a show and then surrounding exhibits and then move to the next show.

This is a schedule for a 7pm closing during a busy day this coming May. I would imagine this will be the exact same show schedule, if not very close to it for a 7pm closing in August.

What we dont know is if they will be offering summer night themed shows during a 7pm closing in August. Shamu Rocks, Sealions tonight and the Fireworks show.

BTW, "Key West at Seaworld" is a themed are where the dolphins, Sting Rays and turtles are. So if you see the dolphins, Sting Rays and Turtles, you'll have seen Key West at Seaworld.

I would feed the dolphins. Its a great experience. It costs money though. How much, Im not exactly sure. If you dont want to feed them, you could always pet them.

If I were you I would do this..... (Each Show is about 30 minutes or less)

Be in park by 9:00-9:30am
10:00 Blue Horizons show
10:45 Feed Dolphins @ Dolphin Cove
11:30 Turtle Point, Sting Ray Lagoon. (They are very close to each other)
12:00 Manatees
12:45 Penguin Encounter
1:15 Pacific Point Preserve
1:45 Clyde an Seamore show
2:30 Dolphin Nursery
3:15 Pets Ahoy Show
3:45 Lunch
4:45 Alure The Call of the Ocean
5:15 Shark Encounter
6:30 Believe Show

Only thing I couldnt fit in was Shamu's happy harbor

But Thats the way i would do it. But its your trip so have fun!

Heres a map to help

Have a great time!

Wow that is a ton of information. Thanks for your advice. I don't know if my girls will last all day like that, but we will see.

A word of "warning" if they spot Happy Harbor all bets may be off.
They have an area of kids rides but more important thay have a water play area(which will look REALLLLLY good in August).

Happy Harbor is very hard to miss as it can be seen from several areas in the park. (Happy Harbor also has characters)

Also the last Clyde and Seamore show is a parody of the other shows in the park and is quite funny.

Hope you have a great trip!

Thanks. It sounds like happy harbor is a must do. Are there things that we could skip?

I will probably tell the girls about it and let them pick one or two thing they must do, to help prioritize. I think we must do believe, clyde and seamore for sure.

There are things you can skip. My DD loves the Shamu coaster, the mini tea cup ride and the merry go round. When we go to Happy Harbor, we usually set a time limit. There are the rides, play area and splash area. We usually do a few rides and then the splash area on the way out.

I'd pass on Alure and do Happy Harbor with the kids. We generally do Dolphin nursery in a couple minutes so 45 minutes there would be a stretch for us. For little ones it is actually hard to see the dolphins and there aren't always babies swimming around.
If the kids are young 9AM-3:45 is a long time to go before lunch, so might want to rethink the schedule to eat earlier or get food to eat while waiting for a show to start.

My schedule was pretty much what you would have to do if you wanted to fit all that in one day. Seaworld can be a two day park.

I agree with the poster above. Skip A'lure. Not really a kids show. The two "Must See" shows are Believe and Blue Horizons. Happy Harbor is a "Must Do" if you have young kids. They will love it! You got a few months to plan. Online you can read about some of the exhibits and shows. Maybe see which ones your kids would prefer doing over others.
