We are first time Disney cruisers and have just booked a cruise
for December 2003 on the Magic. We are a family of 5 (3 ds's,
ages 8, 9, and 11 at the time of the cruise).
Our cabin number is 8042. Is this a good location?
If you go to the Disney Cruise Line board, you can go to the deck and see exactly where your cabin is...off the top of my head I believe you are about midship
You are mid ship. We vhave stayed in 8040 & 8042 . Cabin is good, you may here them moving deck chairs on the deck above though. Have a great time. We were supposed to go for X-mas but had to change it until Febuary.
8042 is NOT a good cabin, it is a GREAT cabin and the location could not be better. Our family stayed in 8030, 8028 and 8026 on our last cruise and the family suites were terrific (nice and roomy) and the location (on deck 8 right near the elevators and the stairs) makes your cabin one of the best on the ship. Enjoy the cruise.
Thank you all for all of the info. My dh and I are SO excited!!! We won't tell our boys for a few months. It will take that long to
think of ways to convince them that dressing for dinner is a
good idea.
