Is anyone else out there concerned about those DISers that are spending too much time and money on Disney?

Is there anyway to get to Disney on a discount? Someone mentioned coupons to Disney--does anyone know about MVMCP?

Thx:sunny:

Nope, not concerned. They are happy and I assume they know how to handle their own finances.

As far as Disney on a budget...try the budget board! Great ideas there!

WDW is expensive, but there are ways that you can save money on the trip. The Budget Board has lots of information on how to save on the trip.

Disney is my indulgence and I love it!

Good luck and happy planning! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_1_216.gif' border=0></a>

Ever since I found this board, I have been spending more on Disney items, but love it and enjoy the things that I had purchased for myself and as gifts.

I also recommend the budget board, and if you are planning on going to a particular park, go to that board-you could get some info. there also. Ex. If you are going to Disneyland,...there is a forum just for that park.

Disney is expensive, but still cheaper than a psychiatrist every week. ::yes::

I know that WDW is expesive but..............We love it and have a great time and if this is where I want to spend the cash.....I will do it. It is all on getting the most fun and enjoyment for my family and we love going there. Call me Crazy but that is what we like to do.:D

My family would say I do. But I think they spend too much money on alcohol. Everyone has their indulgences...Disney is mine;)

So NOPE! Not concerned in the least.

No - it's a healthy indulgence! I don't smoke or drink (ok, once in a while some Walleye White or a beer). Disney is my indulgence and when I go, my vacation. My DH's idea of vacation is paddling his butt off and sleeping on a rock for a week.

I don't do that anymore - I want to be relieved of the everyday world and work and live in Fantasy land for a short time.

As for the Disney snowglobes I collect - with each one I envision the wonder in my future grandchildren's eyes as they watch and play with each one. (Sure hope I have a granddaughter to play "princess" with!)

Another plus to my "indugence" - I have met some of the most wonderful people both at Disney and here on the boards - some of which I have met in person, and now call my friends!

Again - it's a pretty healthy indulgence - both physically and mentally!!

Yes, when the boys were younger we used to go every year. Now I can easily get Disney'd out. I did on our last trip and actually so did the boys. That was a year ago from last Thanksgiving. I think I may be ready to go back next spring or summer. When I see our family vacation pictures there are parts that call me back but I want to wait until I am absolutely dying to go back and I am not there yet.

The only time I feel there's too much Disney is when my feet are killing me after a long day park hopping. And even then, the pain is worth it. Nothing a dip in the hotel pool won't cure anyway.;)
