is there an intersection at 417 and 192??

i'll be heading to a resort on 192 just west of 417 (vacation village at parkway--address is on arabian nights road just off 192). i thought the best way to get from the airport would be to take the south access road to 417 (greeneway) and head west.

the map i have shows an exit off 417 a little north of 192 (exit 3) and one a little south (exit 2). is this accurate? or can i get off 417 at 192??

if i can't get off at 192, do i want to continue to exit 2 and then head north? or get off at exit 3 (which seems to be osceola pkwy) and then do what?

You could get off at the Celebration exit. That would be the closest intersection of 192 and 417.

safetymom - that looks like exit 2, the one just past 192 when headed westbound, right? it looks like if i take that exit and head north, the street crosses 192 and becomes arabian nights--does that sound right?

Not real familiar with what all is on 192 there. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

YOu could take 417 exit @ Oceola Parkway, turn left at the Gaylord Palms & that would take you right by a Publix & a Walgreens--which are both located at the corner of this road and 192. Turn Right if I am not mistaken & Arabian nights Road should be right there.

(This is the way we take to the Palms & to Westgate Town Center)

although i can look for the landmarks you mentioned, any idea what this road is called?

also, anyone know if the osceola exit or celebration exit is preferable/or an easier way to go? i'm usually the navigator while DH drives, but will only be with DD12 on this trip so i won't be able to read a map while i'm driving.

as i understand it, there is NOT an intersection of those two roads, and i have to either get off before or after. anyone else want to comment on the best way to go?

Get off at the Celebration exit. At the end of the off ramp, turn right. Go about 200 yards to the stop light (192), and turn left. Go West on 192 about 1/2 mile and turn right, into the resort.

The road connecting Osceola Pkwy at the Gaylord Palms with 192 at the Publix and Walgreens is International Drive S. But chucked's route (exit 2) is the best.

From the Orlando Airport: Follow the signs to toll road #417 South (Greenway). Take Greenway to exit #2 (Celebration Ave.) to 192. Turn left onto US 192 (West) to first traffic light (Parkway Blvd). Turn right onto Parkway Blvd. and follow it to the resort on the right hand side.

From I-4: Take exit 25A (US 192 E) to first traffic light (Parkway Blvd) turn left and follow it to the resort on the right hand side.

From the Turnpike: Take exit 249 (Osceola Pkwy), head West to International Dr. exit. Turn South on I-Dr to US 192. Turn right onto Parkway Blvd. and follow to

thanks mochabean. and thanks cruiseonmagic. i think i missed that because i'd already been sent directions from RCI (which said to take 528 to I-4, and i was pretty sure there'd be a better way).
