In the big, gorgeous lobby of GCH, there is a gift store called Acorn Goods. They sell medicine, some snacks, souvenirs (of course!) and they DO have juice, water, milk etc. but they keep it in their refrigerated storage room, so you have to actually ask them for it. I got some water and juice there last December.

Sherry, were the drinks "Disneyland expensive" or more reasonable than in the parks?

Regretfully, they were "Disneyland expensive." From what I recall, and this was back in December when we stayed in GCH, I went into Acorn Goods and asked where to get water, juice, milk, etc. and they said they had it there in the back room. For some reason, I thought this meant a bottle of water would be cheaper than if I got it out of the vending machine. It was not. It must have been $2.00 at least for one small bottle. Probably $2.50.

So this trip we had last weekend, I brought my own water and stashed it in the PPH room from hell's (see my trip report) mini-fridge. It was ice cold too. No way am I spending $2 or $2.50 for one small bottle when I can just bring and stash my own! But I realize bringing water is not an option for everyone - especially when you are traveling by plane!!! Maybe that is why so many folks order groceries to be delivered to their hotels. It makes more sense in a weird way!
