I'm loving this show too. And the imitation of Tim Gunn by Santino was a hoot. I so love Tim so it bugs me, but Santino's diction and tone are perfect.

Aside from that I can live without Santino.

Agreed Kara is the next to go. Santino after her.

At the beginning I loathed Andrae, but he's wearing on me. Nick and Daniel V are my two faves... I'll be sad when he's gone. I like Chloe too, but think her designs are a little too simple and clean cut for my own tastes.

Yep, shes gonna just die quitely. I can't even really remember one of her designs since none of them stood out for me. Shes kinda blah. I really like Nick and Daniel. They are my fave. I hope there is some way for Nick to get Tara back. Made me mad what Zuelma did about the models. She just doenst play nice. Chloe needs to step it up a bit so she can be in the final 3 with Nick and Daniel. My hope is for Santino to get kicked out just before the final 3. I want him in the top 4, just to see how big his head will swell, then buh bye!

Do you remember what Tim Gunn said about Zulema's model-the one she dumped? "She looks like an elongated marshmallow" and it went on from there. He tore the poor girl apart, and she's *beautiful*. If any of you out there have beautiful daughters, this is what they'll be subjected to, every day, people like Tim Gunn calling her an elogated marshmallow, etc. No wonder they all have so many problems with self esteem, etc. I now have a Tim Gunn voodoo doll next to my computer that I stick pins into occasionally. What a prissy jerk, just like everyone else in that industry. I loved Kara's dress for Nicky Hilton, I thought it was fabulously sexy, still can't figure out why Santino's used-tissue confection won Nicky over. I think it was more 'santino' winning her than his blasphemously icky short waisted dress. Only Heidi had the guts to say, hey, I'd have a hard time looking good in that. Yeah! Andrae's growing on me too, now that he's stopped crying all the time. I thought his 'gutter' dress was good but went too far with the deely bobs dangling off the dress...

Granted, his suit for Daniel wasn't all that, and it wasn't sewn well, but at least it didn't fall apart like that horrible creating that Santino made for Kara!

Nick was so talented. I don't think the same is true of Santino. Santino just makes for good TV.

The previews hinted that the next challenge will be designing for a real person, again. IMO, this is where Santino has a problem; his designs look good on paper, but no one but a professional model can wear them. He doesn't seem to realize that "real" people (such as Kara) have bumps and curves, and have to wear something for more than a strut down the catwalk.

I was also surprised that they gave him a pass on the ill-fitting, falling apart, ugly (IMO) jumpsuit. It was a real toss-up as to who should have been eliminated, but at least Nick tried to make something that Daniel would really wear, and took his personal taste into consideration. I felt that Santino forced HIS taste on Kara, and his design didn't suit her at all.

I can't stand Santino and I can't believe that they kicked off Nick instead of Santino..I thought the jumpsuit was ugly and totally tacky and I thought IMHO that it looked terrible on her and she wasn't comfortable wearing it. I don't think that Santino is that great of a designer. I actually liked Daniels dress but could have done without the leather vest. Of course, I want either Daniel or Chloe to win. I thought that Chloe's suit was really nice and well tailored and while I didn't like Nick's suit, I thought that it was way better than Santino's.

I just really started to watch this season since my daughter conned me into watching the marathon last season...I honestly am not that crazy about Jay's designs from last year but since he is a local PA guy, I went along with my dd!

I was sad to see Nick go. I thought he was funny and very likable. But I think that his ego actually was his downfall on this challenge. Did you hear him saying how much better he was at menswear and how far ahead he was? He should have put more thought into outfit. I have to agree that no pockets anywhere was strange...

Santino - where do I even start? I agree that he makes for good TV and I think that's why he's still around. That jumpsuit was a disaster. I felt really sorry for Kara when he was talking about her lack of excitement on the runway. He flat out lied and said she was jumping around with excitement and tore the sleeve. I was hoping she would start jumping around right then and the outfit would completely fall off! That would have served him right.

I am sorry Nick is gone also..... I can't stand Santino and he has been in the bottom two for the last several weeks. I loved at the end how they talked about his outfit and how the stripes were glued on and the other contestants wondered what took him so long, he wasn't sewing, he was glueing.

I think they just keep him around for entertainment purposes too...Also,, the guest judges they bring in are a bit crazy IMO, the guy last night actually LOVED the jumpsuit. HELLO???? What planet does he live on?? He is a Hollywood stylist? No wonder so many celebrities look bad, if they are listening to advice like his.

I will miss Nick, I loved his stresssed out yet easy going style. I would imagine Daniel or Chloe will win this now unless they get more stupid stylists from Hollywood to judge and then the tasteless Santino will win...

I was flipping back and forth between this and lost last night so I didn't see the end put I can't believe Nick got cut! I went to the Runway site and looks at the historical marks, they just don't make sense. Santino has been last so many times, yet never cut, almost always the first or second in "points" gets cut. (other then when its Santino) Last night he got a 1.9 Nick got a 3.1

ETA: I guess viewers just don't like Santino very much!

I am so sad to see Nick go, but I have to say that he had gone downhill since losing his model...he inspiration outfit wasn't good, the top was great sure, but that fishtail skirt, blah! Then the garden party dress, his I think was the 2nd worse and then last night again not so hot.

Now Santino on the other hand he hasn't been in the top 3, but he hasn't been the worst. The jumpsuit idea was cute, but the fact that it wasn't sewn should have been his downfall. I think he is learning and growing as an artist, but I really hope he loses the next one, I don't want him in the top 3 at all.

I had hoped for a Chloe, Nick and Daniel top 3.

Hey! Glad to run into you again, Sarah's Mom! My kids actually told me this morning that it wasn't "that" cold out. I told them it was because I bundled them up well enough.

I agree about Jay's designs, but between the 3 that were in the finals, his were better and more creative than the others. (I'm just glad that Wendy Pepper didn't win that one!)

That's so funny about celebs looking bad because they use stylists like last night's judge. I thought that the jumpsuit was ill-fitting, at best... and then it only went downhill from there. She looked like a janitor whose company was too poor to buy her a properly fitting Carhart jumper.

I want to see Daniel's runway collection. I imagine that it will be beautiful since he makes things that really look nice on people.

At the end of the show, when the credits run, there is a blurb about how judging is based on the panelists comments and the producer's thoughts, or something to that effect. That HAS to be why Santino is still in.

I'm glad I was not the only one sad to see Nick go! I agree with the poster who said he just seemed very likeable!

I love this show, but sometimes hate watching shows like this! It's so painful to watch the people get cut! But maybe I'm just too sensitive! LOL

I'm sooo sad to see Nick go, now I really don't have a favorite anymore. I'm pretty sure that about a week or two ago I saw him listed as the designer for some actresses dress at the Golden Globes ( I think, it was the GG but don't take my word for it bc at this time of year all of the award shows blend together IMO). But at least he is still designing and getting his name out there!

I love this show. I got hooked last year when I was sick and had the tv on and they had a marathon.

I really wanted to see Santino go. I liked him on the first show and it went down hill after that. I think he just says the things he does for shock value and he hopes to keep the others so on edge that he will stay in just because they might make mistakes.

I was so sorry to see Nick go he had a lot of class. I would like to see Chloe or Daniel win. Let Santino go and design dresses for that Hilton girl.

I didn't see it mentioned here...but I have to say, the FUNNIEST moment of this season so far (Aside from the Tim Gunn impressions) was when Andre was let go.

the way he turned and "flounced" off the stage with his arms at his sides...totally cracked me up.

I guess now we're going to be looking at a Chole/Daniel/Santino runway show...I really can't see Kara making it further.

I think it is more likely to be a Chloe, Daniel, Kara ending if Kara can hang in there. I think Santino is a great personality for television but his designs are always at the bottom anymore.

I'm still laughing over the fact that Santino thinks he looks like Brad Pitt. Oh, wow. That man's ego knows no bounds. If I had had to wear that awful jumpsuit (escapee from Soylent Green!) I would have turned around on the end of the runway, bent over, and split that sucker right down the center seam! Now *that* would have been the end of Santino.

I really hope Chloe wins-Nick, with Daniel as a model, should have knocked it out of the park, and instead it was just soooooo girly.

It's funny; Santino's stuff and Nick's stuff, I can tell immediately that they did it, but with Chloe and Daniel, the clothes tend to fit the request more than fit the temperament of the designer. I like that! That's why I wasn't a big fan of Knitting Boy's stuff last year, it was all basically variations of Jay....
