is there a free dining watch thread for fall?

I need to be brought up to speed, we are DVC members that usually have AP's. But we don't have any points this year and we won't be getting AP's now since our travel circumstances have changed. We are now what we did in the beginning, booking complete packages.

So hiw are the free dining packages found online? Do they show up on the WDW booking site when available? I doubt I'll be smart or auick enough to grab one, but I want to try!

Most likely I feel it will be a Monday or Thursday in the next couple of weeks. Can you be flexible with your dates and resorts?

Yes, totally flexible.
I've seen mention of the free dining deal a ton, but since we always have AP's and stay on points, I've never researched it. We also have a Disney Visa, seems like that helps?

Which ones are you thinking are unlikely? And why would they show up if they aren't real? Anyone ever seen anything like this? They blocked out Thanksgiving, obviously

Actually according to these dates they didn't. Thanksgiving week starts the Sat before thanksgiving. Only your check in dates has to be included to get the whole week. I don't see that happening. Also I think the end of October will possibly be included.

That's exactly what I was thinking before, and now these dates are messing with my mind! Is it crazy to think they were testing free dining on their booking sites and used "dummy" dates??? Conspiracy!

We actually are super flexible and willing to check in 10/28, 11/4, 11/6, 11/11, 11/13, or even 11/15 to get free dining! Staying 7 nights

Think your first dates will be included. I think the whole of the twelfth will be also. We will see?. I wish 11/6 was included but I doubt it will be but I'm crossing my fingers.

I think that the 8/23 date is unlikely, because the FD BB that was offered last summer began on 8/27. They have been moving it further and further each year.

I can only imagine!! I found him and am "following" on FB and twitter, but I'm not on either of them much so I'd likely miss any announcement there - this site is going to give me a much better chance, I think! I hope!

For those who don't follow Pete, he posted last night on FB that suspected free dining dates are 8/23-10/1, 11/15-11/21, 11/26-11/28, and 12/10-12/21. NOT confirmed yet.

If the free dining was 11/15-11/21, wouldn't that mean that all sorts of people would have free dining for Thanksgiving week? That's unlikely, no?

I was hoping for earlier Nov dates. I don't want to be there when the Thanksgiving crowds it, so if these dates are correct I will have to change my dates, probably after Thanksgiving.

Is it likely that nothing in October Will be released other than October 1st? Previous historical dates almost always at least included the very end of the month. Our dates are 10/29 - 11/7, I did alot of research and was really hoping this years FD dates would reflect previous years

I think he made that post to "friends only" and that's why we can't see it. He also posted it on his twitter account, which everyone can see. I followed him there.
