If so, where is it located? If not, does anyone know if there are plans afoot for this??

Many thanks to my learned DVC'ers. :worship:

P.S. It's -23c here today. It's downright balmy considering where I live!!!

There are 7 DVC resorts. 5 at WDW, 1 in Hilton Head, SC and the other is Vero Beach in FL.

Right now there is nothing in the works for the Mayan Riviera. I think most of the future DVC's built will be on property of WDW or near Disneyland.

Sorry for the confusion....my fault!

What I meant was, can you trade into any resorts on the Mayan Riviera with your DVC points?

Thanks!

Other than Cancun, I am not aware of other resorts in the Cozumel, Playa de Carmen area. There are a number of nice resorts including one that is being built by the Royals and should be on line for DVC within 2 or 3 years I'd guess. Many times one can get them all inclusive with air for much cheaper than the other methods.

My parents were able to trade DVC points through Interval International for a one week stay in a 2-bedroom at the Royal Islander in Cancun. In fact, that made it possible for me to join them on the trip, and we just got back last Sat. The resort was very nice. The 5 hotels that are part of the Royal chain downthere were some of the few to escape Hurricane Wilma with little damage. The room was comparable to a 2-bedroom at a DVC resort with the exception of there being no washing machine or dryer in the room. There are, however, laundry facilities on site.

If you have any questions about the resort, let me know.

I gave my son and his fiance a trip to The Royal Caribbean for their honeymoon. I believe the Royal Sands. I would love for you to send me details on your trip.
Thanks, Beth
