Is there a Disboard glossary?

I'm a little confused over some of the terms I've seen used in some threads like "bump" and "troll." What do they mean, and is there a glossary of terms somewhere?

We have a list of Common Abbreviations used on our board sticked at the top of this board.

Things like the two you have mentioned are common on most all internet forums and you should be able to find what they mean with a google search. You might try this:

For just those two terms:

A "bump" is a post in a particular topic for no other purpose than to bring it back up to the top of the list of topics.

A "troll" is a post that's intended only to stir up controversy, or the individual making such a post. On these boards, we don't need troll to stir up controversy -- there's plenty already!
