I have room 8546 booked but on the picture of the ship 8534 looks bigger, is there a differece beside that it can be connected to another room?

Those 4 cat 3s midship are set up differently with the double pull out and murphy bed in the front area and not in the medroom. They are a bit larger and are very desirable when booking a cat 3. If you can get one of them BOOK IT NOW!!! :)

We have booked 8532 for our next cruise, the layout is differnet from 8546. In the 4 midships the murphy bed is in the living room, in 8546 it is in the master bedroom. Midship (8032,8034,8532 and 8534) verandahs are triple wide, the other Cat 3 are double wide. The dining table has a different placement and in the midhsips there are 3 outside doors, 2 in livingroom 1 in master, all others there is 1 door to the verandah in each room.

Thank u all so much, for ur prompt answers. I am sailing oct 2010 and I have now changed my room to 8034. Thanks again

You will LOVE that room! It's near the elevators but with no noise and midship, so close to everything!

So do these particular category 3 units offer more privacy - with the bedroom separated from the sleeping space in the living room? Just trying to picture what would be best if I were to book one with my husband and daughters one day. Also, do they all offer 2 bathrooms? Dreamin here...lol

All the cat. 3's have a frosted glass sliding door that separates the living room from the master bedroom. There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room that sleeps 2. The mid ship cat. 3's also have a murphy bed in the living room, while the other cat. 3's have the murphy bed in the master bedroom. If you plan on using the murphy bed for one of your daughters, then yes, the mid ship cat. 3's will offer more privacy. All the cat. 3's have 2 bathrooms - the master has double sinks, a whirlpool tub and shower. The other bathroom has a single sink and shower.

Hope this helps! :)

The midship cat 3s also allow you to easily walk around the beds when they are set up for the night. The other cat 3s have the end of the bed meeting the entertainment/storage unit so you have to climb over the bed to get to the verandah in that part of the room.

Great information! Thank you both so much for the help...we currently book two room, usually a cat 6 and cat 11, two cat 11's for next year's Baltic, though. The cat 3 would be nice to try sometime...definitely mid ship!

Are there any differences among the triple-wide cat 3s? Trying to decide between 8032, 8034 and 8532 (they are all available). The rooms shapes look slightly different between the 32 and 34 rooms Thanks!

I agree that the 8034 looks different in shape. I liked the shape of that room and it looked slightly bigger,so that is why I picked that one. Any info would be great on this though..

There is a slight difference between the 32s and 34s -- the 34s have a bigger walk-in closet (great for storing luggage). The area on the deckplan that shows an extra skinny little section popping out by the hallway is the closet. Otherwise, the four suites are identical.

If you'd like to see my pictures of 8034, here's a link to my album:

my parents had stayed in one of the aft cat 3 that was connected to a cat 4,and my sister and her family were in the cat 4. I liked that cat 3,but I have to say the set-up in these mid ship cat 3's seem to be so much better. The link to ur pics were great to really get and idea of how the room is set up differently.
