Is there a bus from Epcot to the Contemporary...

Unless the monorail is not working, there is no bus from Epcot to any of the monorail resorts. If the monorail is not working I definitely would recommend the bus, however!

Rule of thumb, if there is something other than a bus from place to place they'll skip the bus. Boats and rail don't have to worry about traffic and other road issues. Easier to get them around rather than a bus. But again if the rails are down to a switching procedure or routine safety check a bus will be available.

If I take the monorail from Epcot to the TTC, I know I must transfer to another monorail. My concern is I'm pushing a wheelchair and I find the ramp at the TTC very steep. I would much rather avoid that if I can. I know there is an elevator to go up at Epcot, but I'm thinking once I get to the TTC I will have to go down a ramp, go to the resort monorail, and walk up a steep ramp. Is this accurate? Is there a way to avoid this?

You can take the bus from the front of Epcot (or boat from IG) to DHS, and transfer there to the bus to the resort.

OP I feel your pain! I have been pushing my husband in a wheel chair since his recent back surgery issues. ( he really can't use an electric wheelchair or scooter due to vision issues)
I have found when pushing uphill (even a small hill at the parks, let alone a huge ramp like at the TTC) I need to get up a "good wind" and then keep going from there. and that's when someone always seems to cut in in front of you and then get mad.
and downhill? boy , you better have strong arms to hold that chair back. that momentum gets going.. and you really try with all your might to hold back.. but, again, that person cuts in front of you quickly and you're not strong enough to hold the chair back, and then they yell at you.
(cause you don't have enough problems pushing a family member in a wheelchair, they really think you would make things possibly worse by risking your loved one's health by using them as a battering ram.. Idon't think so)

You can take the monorail to ttc and then hop on the ferry to mk. It's a short walk to the contemporary from there

I think I remember some kind of "pass thru" at the monorail platform at TTC. I thought it was from the Epcot line to the MK line. I could be wrong though.

Yes unfortunately you will have to go down the Epcot train unload ramp and up the ramp for the MK or Resort rails. If your traveling to MK for Epcot I'd recommend like others to the take the Epcot rail to TTC, walk down the ramp, then the ferry boat to MK. That way you wouldn't have any up hill. And yes there is an elevator at Epcot but the TTC lacks it due to the building codes not requiring it in 1971 (Epcot built in 1982).

There is but it's only available when your unloading from a train on the express rail leaving MK to crossover to the Epcot train load side.

I fear that "short walk" from MK to CR will not seem so short when pushing a wheelchair. It is over 1/2 mi.

What I ended up doing was taking the monorail. At the TTC I went down the ramp to transfer to the other monorail, and I noticed 2 young CMs that worked there. I asked them if they would be able to help me and one offered to push the wc up the next ramp. Thanks for all your suggestions.

wonderful! that is a tough enough ramp alone, without pushing a wheelchair! glad it worked out for you!
