Is the "morning after" pill considered abortion?

Well in no way is it "absolutely" abortion. I would imagine most of the time it is taken (at the very least 50%) there is no fertilized egg.

I guess I need to explain with more literality. With there being no fertilized egg say, 50% of the time, (assuming that this data is correct), then technically it is not abortion. However, on a much bigger level - if you take the morning after pill, obviously you have the intent to abort, regardless of whether their has actually been a conception. Being pro-life (as I'm sure you've figured out), I find that equally wrong.

I think the percentage is actually much, much less than 50%. I took it once with the intention of preventing a pregnancy, which I define as when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, not having an abortion. Of course I don't think there is anything wrong with having an abortion. Anyone who does though, is free to exercise the option of not having one.

I think it is considered abortion. Other methods of contraceptives are meant to stop fertilization (before conception), whereas the morning after pill is not. I don't think not knowing whether the egg has been fertilized or not is the issue... the intention of aborting it, fertilized or not, is.
