My dad and i have been to Universal/ Islands of Adventures 2 times and everytime we went the Hulk had been closed for repairs. I love roller coasters just sometimes i get butterflies in my tummy when i see one with a lot of upside downs.....but i dont get sick i just get nervous. Is the Hulk a really fun ride and should I experience it?:smooth:

Yes! It is fun and exciting. It was rated the #1 coaster by the Travel channel and is one the most popular coasters anywhere.

The Hulk is GREAT! It's an adrenaline rush. I don't like coasters that box my ears and head around. The Hulk doesn't do that to me. It's a great ride and very smooth. Go for it!!

Yes! Yes! and Yes! As you can see from my name, I am a fan, but it truly is an adrenaline rush!

It's a fun ride, and yes you should go.

This is exactly why they need to call them fun rides.

Of coarse, the first time you go, you'll be nervous and scared.
But you'll live. And then it will be a piece of cake after that.

I'm sure the first time I go on the Mummy, I'll be a little nervous. But at the same time, I know it's going to be fun, so I want new rides to be built with lots of speed and height. Otherwise they become boring after the first time.

Well, if you haven't actually seen the coaster in action (that's dreadful luck, by the way), then you really can't appreciate how incredible that initial launch is.

While I can't say Hulk is my number one coaster (Montu and Kraken are both fabulous coasters as well), it's absolutely one of the best, smoothest rides you're likely to drop your butt into.

Its number one for a reason. You must ride it to appreciate it.

Only 4 out of 6 of our family members are big enough to ride it and we love it. We love thrill rides and coasters. Ds 16 wasnt into the coasters for a few years but now he is back full swing, lol.

definitely the best roller coaster i have ever been on! loved it, loved it, loved it! i am a little disappointed that my travel companions this year are too small to ride and we won't get to experience it! definitely make it a priority on your next trip!

Hulk was a decent coaster (the launch was good) but afterwards it just looses it's momnetum (sp?). A much better coaster IMO is the Fire Dragon...lots of speed and it keeps it up all the way through.

Yeah, hit Hulk for a great wake-up or two, and then go ride both Dragons.
No fun anywhere else closer together than that!

I would not ride Hulk at any time of the day with a cup of coffee...:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

DM, are you at the Mummy yet? I just wanted to know where I should look for you next week. I'll at least have lime green ribbon on, if not a bright lime green shirt (I'll try to remember the lime green shirt--I've been looking forward to wearing it). My 4yo will have his Sponge Bob bright yellow shirt on and my sister and I look like this   , especially if we wear our bubba teeth. We'll probably be there M or W so be on the lookout, or maybe be ready to hide!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I'll look for you if you go on Monday.

And I've noticed that Universal has lime green shirts available. I never asked anyone wearing one if they were a DISer or not.
