is PS really necessary

1st time in WDW is it really necessary to has PS 2nd week in December. I thought it was not as busy this time of year.

It is not necessary for most restaurants but there are a few like CRT and Chef Mickey's that you would probably still have to make a PS for.

We went in December 99 and I still went ahead and made PS's for the restaurants I knew we definitely did not want to miss just in case.

IMHO If there are particular restaurants that you really don't want to miss eating in then I would make a ps for them.

You don't want to be disappointed.

YES, YES, YES!

Please remember, the first two weeks are The Cast Member Holiday, and although they can dine almost anytime during the coming year, most take advantage during these two weeks. The parks will be lighter than normal, the restaurants will be very busy!

Make PS for those restaurant that your do NOT want to miss.

Quite simply, it can't hurt to make them.

I agree with everything that's been said. Although we tend to visit during quieter times, and have never had a problem getting seated as walk-ups, we tend to make PSs for any we'd be disappointed to miss out on.
