Is McDonald's still offering the McRib sandwich?

I am having lettuce for dinner :lmao: but that saucy goodness was totally worth it. It was as good as I remember, maybe better. :thumbsup2

Aww, they must have re-nuked yours. They are not supposed to be rubbery.

You've convinced me to try it. When I think about it it def did have a microwaved too long texture.

I am actually near a "classy" McDonald's,(I know, what????) that beats almost all of the McD's I've ever been to. I even thanked the manager because they are truly a class act. They have a big sign out about the McRib and tell them Imzadi sent me!

So is there some sort of a Google McRib tracker so we can know if our local McD's has these? :confused3 :rotfl:

There is a website where you can track recent "sightings." From what I've read, though, the release this week is Nationwide and will include ALL McDonald's for the next 6 weeks.

The signs say something about "Joy" on them, with snowflakes, so maybe they'll last through the end of the Holiday season...that is, if there's enough pigs on the farms, in the world. :rotfl:

I believe I tried one a long time ago. IIRC I picked one up on the way to a Scrapbooking crop-- NOT a good place for messy sandwich! But I don't remember a thing about it. I guess it must not have been awful or I would probably remember that.

I just drove by our McD and didn't see any sort of signs about it. I will check next week. I guess I will have to try one again and see what I think.

Only menu item I have ever seen that I thought was odd was roast duck, on the menu on a Disney Cruise. Of course, I was asking my kids for 2 months before the cruise if they thought they would have "roast Donald Duck" on board.

Had one today but they slathered way to much BBQ sauce on it. It was impossible to eat without getting one's hands all sticky and having it drip down on your chest. Tasted pretty good but would have been better if I could have eaten it without swimming in it.

I like mine the way you describe but you can always ask them to go light on the sauce.

I remembered them in Indiana as a kid. Since "THEY'RE BACK" (here in VA), I dared DD12 to get one. She ate the whole thing and loved it. However, when I later researched that it had 25 grams of fat and 500 calories, she was less enamored...

You do know that on a cruise, the "duck" is actually whatever seagulls they catch aboard ship.

Okay, I decided to go for it. I sit here with a McRib next to me with 3 small bites out of it. :crazy2: Not liking it. This one doesn't have much sauce so that could be it but the overall flavor and texture is not appealing to me. I think I am going to have to stick with my double cheeseburger.

So more McRibs available for those that like them! :thumbsup2
