I have a Pal Mickey. He's pretty cute but I don't know that I want to carry him around all day. What do you do?

He has a strap and clip? Why did you buy Pal Mickey if you are not going to let him enjoy the park with you??

This might be a stupid question: But what's a Pal Micky???
Thanks for not laughing at me!!! :-)

LOL, I bought him for my kids, who didn't like him, so he became mine.

My DD13 and I are taking her Pal Mickey back to WDW on our ext trip and we LOVE him. I know its an extra to carry around but really we feel it adds to the whole experience. We devised a 'collar' of velcro to hold the lil' guy high on her shoulder(attached to her carrybag) when she wants to hear, but not carry him. Pal Micky tells some hidden facts ....like the dinosaur like rock in the AK at the bridge. Had Pal Mickey not told us we never would have noticed the little extra things. Just our 2 cents. And he is great with character interactions as well!!

Our pal is making his 6th trip to WDW in June! I really enjoy him. I do not carry a lot in the parks, so Pal Mickey is not a problem. YOU CAN"T LEAVE HIM BEHIND!! THAT"S NOT FAIR! LOL!

We attached Pal Mickey to the pin lanyard and it worked out great! he also vibrates when he wants to tell you something. He was a lot of fun.

I also use a lanyard to hold him - it's easy to lift him up and listen to him after he shakes.

I spent the day trying to make tie-dye shirts for me and for PAL for our next trip!

For me, he's the best purchase (besides pins) I ever made at Disney! I love having a piece of the magic at home.

Mrss P Your Pal Mickey wardrobe is sooo cute did you sew the suits or did you buy them?

Nettii-

Thanks! I sew almost allof them...I took store patterns and modified them to fit Mick's unique characteristics. I'm always working on new things.

Thanks for checking out the album! I hope to have even more in the coming days....

I love the Pal Mickey wardrobe. You even got him tiny crocs! :lmao:

Seems to me last spring at WDW they were selling clothes for Pal Mickey.

Hey. I'm plutopuppy's DD13 and I loved having Pal Mickey! We are bringing him back, and last trip, Tweedledee and Tweedledum stole him from my lanyard and played monkey in the middle with me! Hilarious! Well, I didn't think so at the time...

one day I actually mentioned that maybe PM did not want to spend the day in the parks and he would rather rest at the hotel and my husband got upset:rotfl2: He said that he HAD to go the the parks, no rest until he got home then he would have a year to rest until the next trip.

Yup, the "crocs" come from the baby dept at Target...but Disney does sell outfits for PM - they have a safari outfit, a Mickey Mouse Club outfit, a rain slicker (my personal favorite), Pirate outfit, and a Santa outfit. They used to have a pin trader outfit, but that's gone now. I just wanted mine to have some other basics like shorts, Hawaiian shirt, windbreaker, and a few other items necessary for travel to the world....(swim trunks, sleeveless T, etc).

Most of the places that sell PM sell the clothes that Disney makes too.

Gotta get him a rain slicker, at least! It's just too cute!!!!

I've often wondered if Pal Mickey was worth the money. He does repeat himself a lot in the parks. I got him at the outlet for $32, so I don't have a ton invested. The jury is still out on my pal mickey, but I'd love to hear some more comments about how you like him or don't.

I'm biased...My PAL provides a nice alternative to walking around WDW with my DH at times!:lmao: (He's had one too many melt downs and should really stay on the golf course, IMHO...I love the man, but for some reason WDW can bring out the worst in him at times)

Seriously, I like the stuff he tells me - much of it I never knew and I've been to WDW 15 times. I'm sure the jokes will get old, and the info will get stale...but he's just so....cool.

And he never whines like the kids, never asks me for anything, (although I spoil him horribly) and he doesn't eat anything but batteries and even then, it's pretty minor.

In my book, he may be the perfect man.:rotfl2:

i got DD one for her birthday! she gets tired of carrying him quickly lol but i dont mind! we have the anni edition so hes always dressed up in his suit hehe!

it is fun to hear the neat little facts and dd takes him out once a month to kiss her mickey lol
