Is it worth doing Spectromagic on 1st night?

Now that the Spectromagic parade is only 2 nights a week & we have plans for one of those, I'm wondering if it's worth coming directly there from the airport after flying in from TX to get there for the 7pm parade on Sat. night?

I would do it myself...Spectro is an absolute MUST for me. I've rearranged our entire schedule because my husband made us miss it.

I would do it. We park hopped from Epcot for the sole purpose of seeing Spectromagic in December. It was well worth it. My DD was 34 months, and it was her favorite parade. I love it too.

Be warned...the music will stick in your head for weeks!!...years in my case It is a 'must see' for me.

We'll be doing that on the day we arrive. We'll stop by the hotel and check-in, then take the bus to the MK. I plan on getting a spot on the parade route, then sending DH to Peco's Bills for dinner, we'll eat while we wait for the parade - looking forward to seeing Spectro, and this why if we don't get back on the other night its shown, we won't miss it.

I've done this several times after arriving at WDW and it's a wonderful way to start your vacation. I can't imagine a parade without Spectromagic.

Ditto!!! I am still singing the MNSSH song and it has been almost 2 years.
Spectro is a must see for me.

Spectro Magic is a must see, I didn't get to see it on our last trip a couple of years ago, so when we go it will be 5 years since we saw spectro magic and I can't wait to see it again!!!

With the limited schedule of the parade and fireworks etc. I would highly recommend that you do those things on the first available night because there is always a chance of cancelations due to bad weather. If you wait until the end of your trip you could miss out.

I would get there early to get a curb side seat. I LOVE that parade

Florida weather is very fickle - definitely do it the first night - or like the others have said you could miss out
