to consider going back to Bonnet Creek for lunch and an afternoon break?
One way we save money in Disneyland is that we go back to our room for lunch and a swim. With having a condo I'd want to be able save as much money on food as possible.

We've always done that even when staying at a hotel. We like to get to the parks early at rope drop and leave about 1pm and have a nice lunch and swim break at the hotel and head back to the parks between 5-7pm. Depends on if we are going to the park with evening extra magic hours...then we'd head back closer to 7pm. You'd be surprised at the number of people leaving the parks for the day at that time!

This plan works great for us. We have fun at the parks and enjoy our resort too! Hope this helps and that you have a great trip!

Not at all. We find we are hungry by 11:30, and that's too early to leave on a 9AM rope drop day, so we end up eating in the park anyway. But, we nearly always come back for an afternoon rest by the pool. Short commute.

If you have a car, I'd say yes. If you have to use the shuttle, it would depend on which park you're at and where the shuttles pick up. If it's going to take you 45 min or more to get back then fix lunch and then another 45 min or so to head back, I'd not do it. If you plan on staying at your resort for a long break, then it might be worth it.
