I'm heading over to AK and AKL later this morning. MUST HAVE ZEBRA DOMES TODAY!!

Yes, hair dryers in the rooms.

The Mara is the quick service restaurant at AKL and is open from 6:30am to late into the evening (usually 11pm). Lots of food options there!

You should "link" the 2 reservations - that's the best way to ensure they will be in the same vicinity. The owner of the points may have to do that for you.

Online check-in may save you a few minutes when you arrive at Jambo House, but it isn't necessary. I prefer to do it since it allows me to put a credit card on file without someone having to swipe my card, plus you can tell them your expected arrival time.

You mean if I had stayed till Sunday I could have had an extra hour at WDW?!! Darn! I arrive home around midnight Saturday night - so close!!


Brandi, I imagine Wendy will be on pain meds (and kind of 'out of it' for a couple days). Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Hi All!!

We will be staying in Jambo house in a studio with a Sav. view in just a few weeks. We rented points from a friend.

I've never stayed anywhere other than values before and I wanted to ask a few things.

Thanks!!! We are soooo excited to experience a new side of Disney!!!

Congratulations! You are going to love it! I agree, you'll never want to stay at a value again. Now, I have no problems with Values at all, loved them when I stayed there, but I treated it as a place to sleep and that's all. With the Deluxes, I found myself wanting more time to stay at the resort and enjoy.
