Is it really bad to go in July?

My DD8 and I did a Mommy/Daughter trip this past August (1 - 6). Honestly, and maybe it's because we have humidity here, it's wasn't THAT bad. Yeah it was hot (90's most days) and yeah it was humid, but it didn't bother me like I expected it too. To us it didn't feel too different from a hot and humid summer day at home. I was expecting to leave the parks mid afternoon to just swim or soak up the AC and we never did. We stayed from morning til night. We didn't over exert ourselves and took things slow. DD and I had a BLAST!!

It was crowded, but I've heard that later in August is better - we might try that next time.
