Is it Prince Spaghetti night?

We do it but not always on Wednesdays. I grew up with that commercial too!

We all grew up with it.

I grew up in New Jersey in the 80s. That commercial is from 1969.

I never heard of if.
Also grew up in (south)New Jersey, 50 years old. Don't recall the commercial at all.

Now...I DO recall the Perillo Tours commercials!!

Not Wednesday, Monday is always Prince spaghetti night in our house, I do remember the commercial. (S.E. Massachusetts here)

No, "we" all didn't. I've never seen this commercial or heard of this brand. I grew up in New Jersey in the 80s. That commercial is from 1969. I wasn't even born until the late 70s.

I vaguely remember seeing it a few times, but not enough to say I grew up with that commercial. Certainly not enough to be the longest running commercial in NY state. So, maybe it showed more as a regional commercial. I remember Ragu commercials a lot more. And later on, Barilla pasta.

For our family, Sundays was spaghetti nite.

Don't remember this commercial and never heard of this brand of pasta (grew up in the Balt/Wash burbs). But we did have spaghetti every week.

Prince Spaghetti commercial stayed the same all through the ‘70s into the early 80s. Thought it played on most of the east coast. I was in Bergen County NJ where it was standard my whole childhood. Many feel good Latter Day Saints commercials back then too.

I'm not Catholic so I have no idea. Just used to fish frys on Fridays and seafood specials. And it was just a question/suggestion

That commercial was an important part of my childhood! My grandma and most of my cousins lived near the North End of Boston, and we ate pasta a lot (lots of different shapes). I also had an uncle and a cousin named Antony. Plus, my (Italian immigrant) father would eat pasta with ANYTHING! So, the commercial was hugely popular in our house.

My family still eats a lot of pasta--it's one of the very few things my 4 kids can agree on. We have a larger variety of meals with it but it's always popular.

Tonight, we had lasagna (Stouffer's), because DS17 leaves for France tomorrow, so it was his choice for dinner. When I follow the family lasagna recipe, it takes hours, so frozen it was!

How could I forget "Fish Fry Fridays"?!? We go for a fish fry at least once a month.

I remember the commercial, probably from the late 60’s, early 70’s. I believe the Prince brand was regional to the northeast, but I haven’t seen it in years.

I love pasta but try to limit it, maybe 2-3 times a month, on no particular day. Ate a lot growing up. My parents followed the tradition of meatless Fridays, so we usually had either pasta or fish sticks.

Don't believe I ever saw the brand in any of the areas I have lived in. I do recall seeing the commercial a few times.

I sure do remember that commercial. It was a great one. We always had Prince for pasta. I do not think it is sold anymore, or at least not in Chicago area.,

I remember that commercial well, as I acquired a nickname for a while due to it. I don’t recall that we had set meals for any specific days of the week. But of course I could have just been oblivious to it.

My father always claimed that where he grew up macaroni was on Thursday, along with Sunday dinner.

I in fact did have spaghetti for dinner tonight. But not Price spaghetti but Great Value spaghetti.

Never heard of Price spaghetti and only know it is a brand and not a "style" of spaghetti because of the video posted.

At one time every Friday was no meat for Catholics. Now it’s just during lent.
