We are wanting to do as much as possible in the days that we have actually going in the parks. My question is this, is it possible to watch the parade at MK at 3:00 and then get over to MGM and get a place to see the motor car parade at 5:30? We have done that park many times but we have never seen this parade. It looks so cute. Any thoughts?

Sounds like it might work... you will have to hurry but I think you can do it!!!

I think you could. If you have your own car it will be much easier though.

It is absolutely possible. We left MK at 2:00 and we were there from TTC at 2:45 you should arrive at 4:30 at the latest get a spot right away. Once we arrived at 5:00 and I got one on the curb by the care center far over to the left as you enter the park near the pin station and it is the last spot before the fence where they exit so the charcters fool around a bit there before ending parade.

Thanks for the advice! Where should we watch the MK parade so that we can get out easily to head to MGM parade? Should we be at the start place where we can leave at the end or should we be closer to the entrance of MK? How long do the parades last? Thanks!;)

I would wait by Town Hall or the Exposition Center to catch the MK parade. That way you can make a speedy exit to catch the bus. A lot of people leave after the parade and if you are any farther from the entrance it could be a chore getting out.

If you are planning to do this, check with the CMs at MK to see what direction the parade is heading...i.e. does it start in Frontierland or Main Street? In April, the afternoon parade started in Frontierland. If that's the case when you are there, I'd suggest watching near Peco Bill's, then taking the train to the park entrance. Walking via Adventureland may take less or the same amount of time, but then you'll have to deal with the crowds on Main Street waiting for the parade to reach them.

HTH!
