That Southwest will open up more $59 rates for the week before Christmas if all the spots say unavailable now?? I am getting so stressed....
can someone tell me if they have ever had this happended at all??? anykind of way?

I just had this happen late last week for travel dates in February. We had $109 each way booked for PVD-MCO on 2/21 and also for MCO-PVD on 2/27. We rebooked at $59 each way and saved $400. It can happen.

Possible? Yes. Likely? Not very. That's a busy time of year for the Florida routes, and the seats have been for sale for a while now. You might get a really early morning flight go on sale, or a flight to FL late on Friday night or late Saturday.

Last year we did get Dings for the 8th-11th of December from STL; I think the fares were $69 + tax. We bought them no later than mid-October, though.

I don't know where you are flying from but check the site now. There is a systemwide sale if you go right on southwest home page and look under headlines for the link. I'm flying from buffalo and there are 59 dollar deals now.
