Is it possible to walk to I-Drive from Amerisuites Universal??

We are staying at the Amerisuites universal, and since we do not have a car, can we walk to I-Drive, or is it better to take the trolley??? I was told by the hotel front desk that I-drive is about 5 minutes away, but I forgot to ask can you walk it??

it's quite possible, but keep in mind I drive is very long and spread out from south to north. depending on what you want to do, you could be in for quite a hike.

You can, but I wouldnt reccommend it. As previous post replied I-drive is very long and depending on what you are looking for you might have to go a ways before you find it. I would definatly take the trolley(buses) over to I drive. We stay at that Amerisuites every time we go to Universal. You would really like it and there breakfast they serve in the lobby is actually pretty good.

AmeriSuites Universal is right at stop 4a (Major Blvd. area-Main line).

We have stayed at this hotel in the past also and were very pleased. Good location, nice layout, good breakfast. Our only complaint was that the carpets were kind of worn out. It's been at least 18 months since we stayed there so even that may have been remedied.
