Is it possible to get connecting rooms with value studio?

i have looked at the map of DVC AKL Jambo House and there are combinations with value studio, regular studio, and 1 BR standard. For example 5233, 5235, and 5239.

I ask because we secured a value studio and a 2br standard with a broker and and it would be great if we could be close together.

If it is possible do I just link both reservations on my Disney Experience? I have read where you can't make requests for view/location with a value I mean we would love a partial or full savannah view but it is not at all imperative.

No. No studios at Jambo connect with anything save a 1BR of the same view type.

You can possibly be close, but never connecting for a 2BR and studio.

Here are the category maps. you can ask the owners to have Member service put a note in the reservations to try and make the rooms as close as possible.

This is a very interesting breakdown. They tried to put us in a standard in front of the pool! I refused. I didn't want to overlook a lot of half-naked people! I believe they gave us the next arm up in that small blue bit as we didn't have any extra points to 'spend'. It was quite a good view - saw a lot of animals and some cattle slept below us every night (we were up on the 5th floor, which I believe is the only DVC accommodation at Jambo?)

You could have the owner add a request to your two reservations that you are "traveling with reservation XXXXXX" on each reservation. Then the room assigner will try to get the rooms near to each other.

The value rooms are all on the Ostrich and Giraffe trails. The standard rooms out on the savannas on the Kudo and Zebra trails are really intermittently located as a small number of savanna rooms were downgraded to standard view a few years back. They all have Bomas (people pens for emergency evacuations) located in from of them so the animals are further out from the balconies.

I know there won't be a door into either room from a value. My 2br is a 1br plus lock off. I just wanted to know if I could get them in a row like in the order above.

That would be adjoining units, not connecting. Request 'traveling with' on both reservations. Poly is the only DVC at WDW with connecting units.

That should be possible. Standard View at KV will face the pool or parking lot and there will be Savanna View rooms directly across the hall from those Std View rooms.

One thing to be aware of is that DVC runs on very high occupancy. In order for rooms to be right next to each other, two rooms of the appropriate type must be vacated the same day. That may or may not happen. If you check in on a day with relatively few checkouts and those that do checkout are scattered around the resort, there will not be vacant rooms near each other to put you in. Its worthwhile to ask, but it isn't a good idea to count on it.
