Use DHL. They get packages from India and Africa to my doorstep in a matter of a few days, faster than any other carrier can get something to me from New Jersey. I love when I see my order is being sent DHL. I know it’ll move at breakneck speed.Di
Does the queen have a US Amazon account and can simply order and have that shipped to them in the states? From my own experience using a for an Amazon account is a PIA.
I just ask as I am overseas one. Sending packages took months and months since Covid. You can’t just buy a waffle machine in England and ship it to the states because the outlets won’t work.
Where is the queen really like a real grandma and says to Harry hey I’m sending you 50 bucks to your account go by this gift for my grandchild?
And then she may not be responsible for the gift in any shape or form. Every word out of MM's mouth is too neat and pat. Although she often doesn't achieve the desired result.Pretty sure they have people for all of that - on both sides. In fact, the whole scenario of GreatGrandma "asking" what Archie wants and Meghan and Harry "telling" her would require a casual, personal conversation the sort of which probably hasn't taken place very often over the past year. More likely one member of somebody's staff sent an enquiry to somebody else's staff and it was handled that way. I wonder if QEII even knows she gave him a waffle iron?
I sometimes receive packages from across the pond quicker than ones in the states. I love DHL too. FedEx seems to be especially have issues. Their delivery times are unacceptable. I've had one scheduled for delivery for THREE days. As of this morning I'm not even getting an expected delivery date. The local facility is approximately twenty minutes from my home.Use DHL. Although it's been reported that there isn't much contact between Harry and his grandmother. I find this particularly sad as they were once very close. The royal family is known to buy each other smaller, more personal gifts, so the Queen may well have chosen it herself, based on stories she was told about her great grandson. I'm also sure that Harry will have stayed in touch with her, regardless of everything else going on. She is very good at separating the personal and professional within her family. I hope Charles and William are taking note.
Overall, I'm would think QE supports Harry's decision to put his family first - even if she's a bit disappointed - , she may not be entirely happy with how the two of them have gone about it all, though.

OK, inquiring minds want to know. Did the waffle maker imprint the Royal crest on every waffle?
Thanks for sending me down the rabbit-hole of pancake art videos. There's really must be something else I ought to be doing for the next three hours...There is a waffle maker that makes Bob Ross shaped waffles. If the Queen gifted that one, then the subtext is that Archie was a happy little accident?

We do not know anything about the pancakes Harry and Meghan eat and if Archie likes them. And if they are organic. Thanks for sending me down the rabbit-hole of pancake art videos. There's really must be something else I ought to be doing for the next three hours...
Yeah, I was surprised at that, you would think they would use every opportunity they get to use their Archewell logo, as that one needs to get promotion.Same topic, but a slight aside.
It seems hypocritical for them still to be using their royal monogram to promote their views and represent their brand.
In Texas, we have Texas shaped waffle makers. When DD was in preschool, she was displeased that hotels on the way to WDW didn’t have Texas shaped waffles.OK, inquiring minds want to know. Did the waffle maker imprint the Royal crest on every waffle?

I had a look at their website, and something else that is weird. There is a link to the newsarticle Spotify published after their contract got signed. But not a link to the channel / first podcast. And you would think that they would use their website to promote the charities they helped, like the women's shelter in Texas and the other relief center in British Columbia (? Don't remember the second thing they did recently).
I know they said they didn't want to use social media, what might have been just a rumour, but if you have news to share... that's what your website is for, isnt'it? I got my degree in marketing earlier this month and I am a bit confusedThis is not what my teachers told me to do!

The expectations on today’s parents are too high! Kids used to be happy just to have food. Now pancakes have to look like a lifelike version of their favorite princess? Thanks for sending me down the rabbit-hole of pancake art videos. That would be leaving money on the table. They could probably get $45 for any favorite character of choice & double that for a pancake that looks like the child. They'd have to make a big deal out of the presentation, of course. Have you seen how much some of the mini speciality "cakes" that are basically two cupcakes stacked on top of each other cost? The expectations on today’s parents are too high! They should do this at Disney, actually. It’s the kind of unique experience/magical touch they used to pride themselves on. I have no doubt there are people willing to stand in a long line and pay $20 for an Instagram-worthy pancake of their favorite character. $45 for one that looks like their own face.
