Is it me or is cyber monday a flop?

Macy's friends and family starts Wednesday - so 25% off there. So the current promotion for cyber Monday is not as good

Now you tell me.

- plus the Friends and Family they run is off of literally everything. Today's deal excludes a lot of brands.

I know. DH and I went on Macy's website again today to look for a Christmas present for DD25 and DFSIL1. We tried applying the cyber code with no luck. We'll try again on Wednesday.

Did snag a major bargain at Best Buy online. DD24 and her fiance (DFSIL2) wants a freezer for Christmas. Best we could do was about $160 with about $70 in delivery fees. And that was to our house...we'd still had to arrange to get the freezer to her house.

We snagged a 7 cubic foot freezer for about $170 ($180 after tax)...with free shipping/delivery. We set it up for the freezer to be delivered to her on Christmas Eve.

Good Cyber Monday here.

25% off one item at Dick's and free shipping. Too bad every brand I was interested in was excluded. The exclusion list was ridiculously long.

Got some stuff we needed from Hanes, but not gifts. 30% odd purchase over $60 and free shipping. Last year I bought from a lot more stores.

I did pretty well today -
Tarte 25% off (including sale items) and free shipping, got DD makeup she wanted
bare escentuals - more make on sale, free shipping
aerosoles - picked up some shoes on sale plus another 10% off, free shipping
cardstore - purchased 50 Christmas personalized (including return address on envelopes) for under $19/ free shipping
bumble and bumble - ordered a $6 bottle of Prep, got 8 free samples (2 are worth $27) and free shipping
maidenform - 50% off site, ordered 3 bras total $35/free shipping
office depot - 8 boxes of Caribou K-cups - $56.72 / free shipping

I thought it was just me! Last year, when I didn't have any money to spend, it seemed like I saw all kinds of deals. This year, when I was hoping to spend money - nothing tempted me!

I did great! Got a new tv for a great price, toys 25% off plus free shipping, zazzle ornament 50% off plus free shipping, something from Kohls using my Kohls cash, 20% off plus free shipping and free shipping at ThinkGeek too.

I look forward to cyber Monday as a day to get free shipping at all of the websites where I only want to buy one or two things and would never qualify for free shipping otherwise. Any percentages off are a bonus
.

I was just going to type the same thing.
I HATE to shop in the stores after working all day/week and if I can get free shipping, why go out at all to the mall :confused3
I did, however, buy on A&F today since my dd sent me links (she's away in college) that today was last day for 40% or 50% off and free shipping and sent me items she wants. I thought that was great!
BestBuy has free shipping too and even if I can't get a good deal on PS3 games, with free shipping, it's win-win for me since I can stay home and shop and get the games my ds wants.

Happy shopping!

i agree. one of the websites i wanted to shop from was a complete tease. 25% off a handful of items and no free shipping. i am glad is got some cheap dvds from amazon last week.

Was it the blue sweater and silver skirt? I wanted that outfit too and it was sold out at 6:30am when I checked..totally bummed.

I got the doll version but they were sold out of the sz 7 for DD. Oh well, the doll will be styling ;) I woke up at 2am EST but DH caught me and made me go back to bed. At 7am, a good bit of the accessory sets were gone.

Free shipping, no minimum at Forever 21 so I just bought myself a $5 hat. That is the only cyber monday shopping I'm doing!

There weren't any tremendous deals that I had to grab. Spent $6 at Think Geek (2 items) and about $90 at JCP ( 8 items) both had free S&H, no min. Without the free s&h would never had bought the 2 items at Think Geek. Had stuff in my cart at JoAnn's, but my ad came and it is the same price, so not much of a deal really, so I opted to pass. Went to about 6 different sites and only made the 2 purchases. Forgot to check Dick's and Sports Authority though.

I agree, I did not see anything that made me think "wow, great deal!" I actually saw better deals online last week pre-Black Friday.

I thought it wasn't too bad. Best deal was scoring a pair of Burton snowboard pants for 50% off and a North Face fleece for $15 off! My 17 y/o will be very happy! :thumbsup2

I also spend my Kohls cash today online, using their 20% coupon and free shipping. Got a case of K-cups, the K-cup carosel, socks for DD and socks & underwear for DH and spent $47 total. I also got some gifts at Hot Topic for 25% off; a few deals on Amazon (they brought back that $8 Walking Dead DVD that I missed at Target!) and hit the Coach outlet for 30% off, plus an extra 10%.

All in all, pretty decent! :)

Well I have to say strangely enough I am doing awesome today ..the day after cyber mon..go figure! Didn't purchase much of anything yesterday but today Champion had sweatshirts/sweatpants on sale 30% off, plus $20 off if you buy 2 AND free shipping so got 2 new hoodies for my boys for $35 plus 7% cashback. Then costco.com was having a sale on videogames 25 off any xbox game purchase so I picked up 2 video games......and it's only 8:30am. Maybe they should call it Make up for crappy sale Tuesday lol!!

I agree, I've found better deals today! And most of the deals from yesterday are still active!

I did good at Eddie Bauer - I had been needing something in a tall size and today I got 40% off and free shipping - so that was a win win for me:cool1:

The other item I would like to find today would be Ugg slippers and then my girls would be all done!

Otherwise I wasn't looking for much, but keeping my ideas open.

Thanks to this post I got the long down coat I've been wanting. I saved $99.60, plus free shipping. I did pay the $10 to upgrade to 3 day though.

Thanks so much!

I bought a mens wool "dress style" top coat, regular price $160 for $52 at Sears.com, combined with a $15 in points using Shop Your Way Rewards coupon and free next day shipping, I think I got an awesome bargain.
