Is it me or are the boards getting slower

Hi everyone, I seem to be having a problem with the Dis Boards, everything takes forever to load. I have highspeed connection (cable). no problem anywhere else, just here......

Wow! I thought I was the only one with this problem. Shoot, I have a bum knee and I'll bet I could run around the block in the time it takes this site to load! I have DSL also and this is the only site that takes forever and a day to load. I hope somebody can do something about it. I love this place and it's frustrating for it to take so long.

Alex was working on the boards last night. There is a post referencing this if you scroll down. Maybe he's still doing some work.

I keep getting a page that says "the page cannot be displayed" or something like that. I tried to submit this earlier, I clicked on "submit", went to pick my son up from school, came back and it still had not gone through. I just stopped it and started over

The new servers
Pete has made a commitment to increasing the speed of these boards and getting search to work. As a result of this commitment we are bringing 2 far more powerful servers on line. Over the next few days the boards will be up and down as we move to the new servers.
Over the next week or so you will also see a lot of changes being made and there will be some downtime as we experiment with the best ways to accomplish our goals.
We ask that you bear with us as we try to make things better!
