Good Morning America is at MW and the host just teased "opening up more availability" for all WDW 5Ks starting with W&D 2026!
Well they're going to need to after all this promotion lol.Good Morning America is at MW and the host just teased "opening up more availability" for all WDW 5Ks starting with W&D 2026!
which is good, since I can't do W&D 2026
Who thought that was a good idea?! There's enough people already!Good Morning America is at MW and the host just teased "opening up more availability" for all WDW 5Ks starting with W&D 2026!
The font of the date makes me think of the font writing of the Rocketeer movie posters ( similar bit not the same. No electric bolts) . Not sure how that could fit into W&D theme though??? INTERESTINGFrom Reddit, and I think this is from the Expo, looks like they’re doing that thing where they have three different fonts and maybe offering clues to theming. Definitely not a villains year.

Quite possible... the 2025 W&D theme was announced on 1/21/2025: https://www.rundisney.com/blog/2025-wine-dine-theme-reveal/Bumping this one bc looking at the calendar, with Club registration on 2/3, think there’s a good chance we get themes next week (1/20 maybe?).
A bit off topic but Marathon related...will this affect the crowds at MK on THursday the 22nd at all? I originally booked Oct 19-23 because the crowd levels were low but now the 21st is a 7 and the 22nd is an 8. We had planned MK on our last day Thursday the 22nd. Thanks for any input.
I'm actually hoping that there is a Halloween party that evening to keep the crowds even lower first thing in the morning. We're happy doing early entry/rope drop and being out before 4 with a toddler and infant. This trip is all about the toddlerThe races don‘t really make a difference. You’re more likely to be impacted by the after hours Halloween parties.

Unless Disney decides to shake things up theoretically there will be a party every day of race weekend except for the day of the 10K a.k.a. Rumor has it these are the themes:
5K - Aristocats
10K - Three Caballeros
Half - Mary Poppins
Challenge - Grumpy
Meanwhile I already told my sister if the rumored 10k theme is true my brother in law needs to come out of RunDisney retirementI don't see how this fits the font/typeface they chose for Wine and Dine, but I'm also not necessarily impressed by the choices.
