I find that it is more fun to shop for scrapbooking stuff than actually doing it? Is it just me? Yesterday I spent about $75 but still feel I need more to get the look I want or to do what I want. I am having a hard time getting motivated. I don't know, maybe I just need to be a professional shopper for someone ;)

Hi I also love  to shop for scrapbooking things. Last Friday I went and found some things. Then this Thursday I got to head to another store where I know what they have so I can spend the summer on a calandar for my mother. I keep looking through the scrapbook magazines to keep me going.

rofl, I LOVE to collect stuff that "I might need" . you should see the collection, it's way out of control. :) maggie

My name is Jackie and I am also a scrapbook supply shop - a - holic!!! I see things I MUST have then I bring it home and not use it because I might need it later!!! Well, I've stopped doing that and I am beginning to use EVERYTHING I want!! It's "later"!!! It feels good to actually use all the stuff I buy without "worry" that I will need it at a later time!!! :cool1:

Well, considering that I just placed two on-line orders and I've been to A.C. Moore 2x this week and will be going to my LSS for a class on thursday where I will OF COURSE buy something - and I have hardly scrapbooked for months but I LOVE looking at my stash, then, YES, I am guilty, too. :)

Include me too. Hard to get motivated to do anything, but love to shop.

I love to shop for supplies but also love to sit down and do the scrapping. So I guess I'm a little of both.

Add me to the list as well! I have spent over $300 in the past six weeks for scrapbooking supplies! I actually have completed about 16 pages in the last 2 weeks though, so I'm not feeling as guilty as I was :) I did just invest a hefty amount at Hobby Lobby for cruise SB supplies. We aren't going on the cruise until March 2006. Oops! :)

count me in on the buying thing :teeth: DH wants to know how I manage to cram all that stuff into a small corner of the room :wizard: I say, its not that much dear... and I use it all.... hope he doesn't look in the drawers... some stuff is still in its wrappers :rotfl: --- I have started to purge stuff and sell some of it on ebay though.... so when the money comes in.... guess where I am going. :confused3 I can't help it..... I am addicted.

Hello my name is pam.... and i am a scrapbooker.....

Count me in too! Glad I am not alone. I have 2 little ones so it is hard to find time to scrapbook. I have been on a spending spree lately. When it is on sale...... how can you resist :)

I'm the same. And I do it for my digital scrapbooking as well. I have tons of digital goodies but I just keep buying more and more! At least it's all stored in the computer and not in my dining room.

Same here, I've spent about $100 in the last week on supplies! I've just run out of glue dots too so I have to go back to the craft store before I can scrap anymore! I can feel my purse getting lighter already...

absolutely!
I am much better now about not buying for the heck of it. But let me tell you about a year ago....I was a huge collector of things...especially paper!
Now I can't say I am totally cured but I am doing better not spending as much! Of course it has helped greatly that my favorite scrap store closed! :rotfl:

I love to shop at my LSS. Right now I need absolutely nothing, yet I can walk in and buy $20 worth of stuff that I have no idea what I will use it for, but maybe some day I will. I keep telling myself my motto is "Use what you have". But it is soooo hard.

Guilty as charged!! :guilty: i have all these great ideas of albums I want to work on.......I have our Family album which are pictures in general. Then I've promised all 3 of my girls I'd make an album for them....so far DD(14) is the only one to even have pages in her album and that's only to age 5! I also "plan" to do a Heritage album for my mom as well as one for my dad. Then of course I will ahve to do our family vacation pictures after we come back from Panama City Beach, FL the end of this month. AND then there's the work album I want to do.........I'm a travel agent and I thought it'd be really neat to make an album up of all the places I've been. I'm taking my pictures as well as some of the pictures from cruises and destinations my co-workers have been to and making an album. I thought this would be a neat way for clients to see what the inside of a cabin on a cruise ship looks like or what waterfalls in Hawaii look like etc. I've bought so much paper and embellishments for this album I better get to work on it or I'll have to have a totally sepeare case just for my "planned" album!! :rotfl: I just can't resist SEI paper!! I need to stay out of the LSS or I may end up in big trouble w/DH!! Gee honey, don't know how all that paper got in my closet!! :confused3 :rotfl2:

Thanks for the laugh, of course I know what you mean. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I was cleaning out my scrapbook roomyes my things have their own room, now maybe i can do some scrapping, but boy I love to go in and see allmy stuff happy in there. Shoping is so fun and I only buy on sale, but that does'nt stop the accumulation. :)

I love to shop for scrapbook supplies. I definately shop more than I work on getting pages completed. I think it is an addiction for me. :)

I used to be this way, but forced myself to stop in general. We were horrible about buying anything and everything that tickled our fancy a few years back. It took about 2.5 years to get out of debt when I realized we had a problem.

Now I will only buy what I need for a specific project (as far as paper, stickers, etc). I still have so much stuff from 5+ years ago that hasn't been used! Albums and paper up the wazoo! Punches I'll never use... it's insane.

Hmmmm... never occurred to me to eBay or garage sale some of that stuff... good idea! :)

I too am a scrapper-shopaholic.............

How bad, you ask??? BAD - really really BAD................

When I was pg w/DS, I went and bought several hundred $s worth of scrapping materials, pens, fonts, etc. Then I didn't buy anything for a while.... then, about 6 months ago, I got the itch again.

Said child will be 3 in Sept and I just completed the first page in his baby book this past March. Since then, I have complete one more page.

Yes, sign me up for the detox program - I am hooked. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
