But I can cancel the trip I booked because the site was being wonky yesterday.

Is free dining that great!? I feel bad that all the good restaurants are probably booked now...

I paid for dining last year and liked having that expense out of the way before we got there. We added dining to our upcoming reservation in September and I was able to modify to free dining this morning saving us $700. So, for me, it's great.

I'm not looking to book a vacation until next year, but I was one of the people who waited on hold for hours to get free dining in 2013. Then I saw online ads and tv commercials promoting the free dining for a full month after I had waited and booked on the phone. So this year, I was curious to see if I could get a free dining reservation if I waited until the day after it had been released. I just went online and, hey! I can! AoA Lion King Family suite with QS free dining plan, easily and with no delays or waiting. Oh if I could go back in time! I'll be remembering this for next year.

I have already booked free dining in the last week of the promotion. The most popular resorts and/or rooms may not be available, but people are constantly changing reservations, so I check back if I don't get exactly what I want. If it is meant to be, it will happen. I For our trip in October 2013, I booked Coronado Springs because it was the best available, then had to change the dates a few weeks later. When I called, the CM told me that POFQ was available, so I jumped on it. It was not even included in the original promo, but apparently I had an unknown PIN code in my name.
