Is it Juan-uary yet? Bachelor Juan Pablo dish - NO SPOILERS please!!!

I think he acted the way he did, because she saved him the trouble. I don't think he planned to give her a rose. She saved him some rose ceremony tears.

He didn't act shocked, and sort of acted relieved, IMO.

....you could be right about that....I had a feeling that she wasn't gonna get a rose either...:confused3

Well, of course, their are some cultural differences... But I am (edited to rephrase) not buying any attempt to use this to justifiy any of Juan Pablos behaviors.

A cerebrally bankrupt, womanizing, jerk.... is just that, in ANY language.

Chris Harrison knows this. (God, he had the very same WTH??? look on his face that Andi had, when doing the obligatory interview with Juan Pablo about what was going on and how he is thinking about the final women.) And BOTH of these people, by virtue of their professions, know how to keep a composed 'poker face'.

Is there anybody who still has to wonder why they didn't air more footage of the candid one-on-one conversations between Chris Harrison and the bachelor.

Many of the other women now know this.

Hell, half of the country now knows this.

I finally caught up last night, and I must say that the scenes with Andi and Juan Pablo, when she kind of reamed him out, were the first time I could agree with "Cultural differences". To me, living in an almost entirely Latino culture, I saw Juan Pablo's reaction as totally normal. The man was being put down on TV, and rather than act sad, he just acted like "I'm a big man, doesn't really bother me, it's OK, I'll just move on to someone else." I thought his public reaction was pretty normal. He didn't think "It's OK", but that's how he acts, culturally. And Andi didn't understand-she thought that if he said "It's OK", that's how he felt. Maybe it wasn't! The whole scene was very uncomfortable. One of the final 3 chose to leave-although I say "Good for you!" to her, part of me feels kind of bad for his ego. A very small part.

I (politely) agree it's BS. We've seen Juan Pablo cry on the show. So he has no problems showing a warm, sensitive side.

He really thought he & Andi had a good time the night before.

She confronts him some more on the "Women Tell All' tonight. We shall see.

....yes, the "Women Tell All" show....

Not just culturally, any man with limited language resources has a tendency to turn on the tape recorded message reply to a woman's "nagging". I really don't even think the scene would've been that long if the producers hadn't wanted it to but they needed drama...and they got it.

I don't live in a totally Latin culture but I've been engaged to 5 different latin men.. I think I kind of "comprende" them.... :rotfl2: The ones with intellect are willing to combat you verbally, not the ones who are limited. Believe me, I've had BOTH.:rolleyes2

Is it a spoiler? Does it have a spoiler anywhere on the page? We need to know before we open the link. :teacher: (I'm all for juicy gossip, just not spoilers. :) )

No, its about a former contestant on this season of the Bachelor.

Renee is engaged!

*highlight to read it!*

Tonight's show is only an hour and a half.

Just according to the previews, a couple other girls nail Juan Pablo on using English as a second language excuse! popcorn::

I want at Sharleen's eyebrows.

And that People article - omg :confused3

how long since they taped this thing?

Apparently they've known each other for quite some time. Eh and maybe they just "knew".... good for her.

Juan Pablo is coming off better than I thought.

These women are trying to grill him but his reasoning is sound. He was obviously feeling more for other women and esteemed the single moms higher. I don't see a problem with that yet these other women are saying it wasn't fair? They sound like they're jealous, that's all.

No, they are upset that he kept saying he was trying to be fair, when he clearly wasn't -- and he shouldn't have kept saying so.
