I know....I'm disappointed too.......but maybe us meeting really should happen IN Oregon...... I'll enjoy seeing all your great pictures from your trip! Are you going to go to the resorts to see the edible displays??? This was one of the things I was really looking forward to doing....(and I know you would have awesome pics).

Just wanted to share on here for those of you that have been following along and haven't ventured over to my Disneyland PTR yet~~~~~~~~I called the IRS today and found out our adoption credit was APPROVED on October 4th and it takes up to 3 wks for a check run date to show up on the computer, but the agent figured we would have our check by the end of this month or early November!!!!!! Not in time to change back to WDW......but it does mean our Disneyland trip will move forward and be an AWESOME trip!!!!

I also totally spaced on my son being able to get a CM discount at the Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland. It's our favorite place but we can't afford 2 rooms for our large family.......well, with his discount......we can stay in a premium view with concierge benefits, add tickets for $276 more than staying at the HoJo with tickets and the one night we were going to splurge at the PPH!!!!!! No way could we ever afford to do that.....but with Derek as a CM......we can!!!

Anywhos....just wanted to share this wonderful news because you all have been my backbone and support this past year!!! Thank You!!!

It does stink......but it's almost over (36 wks today)....... I'll be glad to have the check in hand so we can just move forward!!

Laurie! I am so sorry you did not get your check in time to proceed with WDW but DL is just as equally wonderful!!

I understand when you said its writing the PTR that got you through your hard year. You have had a very tough year and I am by no means comparing them but I understand having the PTR to go to helps in the tough times. Writing my PTR helped in my time away from my DH. Now that my trip is over I feel kind of lost without that to look forward to. Hopefully writing my TR will help to pass more time...

Hey what ever happened with the fire near your place?? I'm assuming it never reached your property since I'm pretty sure I would have seen a post on it.......at least I hope I didn't miss a post like that. I was sure praying the fire would get contained and the firefighters would all stay safe!!

The Mandatory Evacuation was lifted the day after the fire started as the fire was no longer spreading and the winds had calmed down. My MIL could have returned to the house but we told her to just stay at the hotel until Hunter got home just in case. The fire I think was fully contained a few days later. 14 houses were lost but no injuries that I know of.
